#1 Posted: 2/4/2013 12:18:59 PM Here is the list of top 10 teams to win next year's Super Bowl:
New England Patriots 6/1
San Francisco 49ers 8/1
Denver Broncos 8/1
Houston Texans 10/1
Green Bay Packers 10/1
Seattle Seahawks 12/1
Pittsburgh Steelers 14/1
Baltimore Ravens 14/1
Atlanta Falcons 16/1
New Orleans Saints 16/1
Amazingly, year in and year out, Pats continue to be the top favorite team to win SB even they failed to do so in last few years.
Long way from today, a lot of variables can stick out but i like Seahawks and Saints' chances in NFC, Broncos and perhaps Steelers in AFC to play in next year's SB.

#5 Posted: 2/4/2013 12:42:23 PM Super Bowl XLVIII will be played at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford , NJ. NY Giants could be the very 1st team to play SB at their home stadium, if they should make it. Also, on second thought i am not sure if Saints could play well in a freezing cold and windy stadium?

#6 Posted: 2/4/2013 12:48:27 PM From your list, it's the Packers or Saints for me. But there could be a team that can sneak in there if they can catch fire. |

the last 4 years, the super bowl was won by the team the eagles played against in their 1st home game of the season |

oh, yeah i left out the Packers. They always get good shot at SB behind Aaron Rogers, only they should improve on the running game and defense a notch. |

#9 Posted: 2/4/2013 1:10:15 PM Great thread Europa
But if you want the sharp play on the future bet you wait
Wait wait till past mid season to pick the dog with great odds
Look at the history (recent)
They sneak somebody from the back
You gotta find the diamond in the rough
Not the diamond shinning bright now

#10 Posted: 2/5/2013 2:42:05 PM Seahawks, on a second thought they lost the defensive coordinator, Gus Bradely, to the Jags. It may be huge blow to the Hawks, shall see. |

IMO, SF +700 & Seattle +1200 will be public favorites.. and prob not getting the best value right now with the playoff still fresh in everyone's mind.
I like Pitt +1700, NYG +2000 or Wash +3000 this year

#13 Posted: 2/5/2013 8:11:28 PM Steelers will not get anywhere close to the Super Bowl next year...
these teams are viable candidates to win the Super Bowl, based on the NFL's agenda...
AFC: Broncos or Jets NFC: 49ers or Giants
the teams that are best prepared to win the Super Bowl if the teams are allowed to decide it themselves, would be Denver, SF and Seattle... those 3 teams have all the necessary pieces, and all other teams have fundamental flaws, unless they are addressed in the off-season... Texans and Packers are close, but still have issues on defense...

Jets? Mark Sanchez? i don't know about that, Jets did play well in a couple of seasons under Sanchez when they reached two AFCC but just steadily faded away in last two seasons.
Steelers always possess real threat with solid defense, Big Ben and running games. Don't they?
i like Broncos but i'm wary of John Fox as a HC. |

Steelers always possess real threat with solid defense, Big Ben and running games. Don't they? i think you are concerning yourself with all of the wrong issues... the Steelers first of all do not always pose a threat... i was PRAYING they would make the playoffs this year, because they were so clearly a bottom half of the league team this year... but they always have this blind following, so they are generally thought to be better than they are... but this team not only doesn't have the talent to compete at the highest level... they do not fit the equation for the NFL right now... Pitt is not in the rotation, pure and simple... the Jets, however, could very well be in the rotation... Denver, SF and the Giants are all possibilities because of the Hollywood-style stories they can present... Pittsburgh doesn't give us any story that anybody gives a garbage about... the only reason they won their last SB was because their coach and star RB were both retiring... unless a couple high-profile Steelers announce their retirement midseason, the Steelers will not be given consideration for a Super Bowl run... |

#17 Posted: 2/5/2013 8:41:35 PM SF and Denver are the two teams that are "on deck"... each of these teams will win at least 1 SB in the next 3 years...

#18 Posted: 2/5/2013 8:45:47 PM Well, if you think Jets are better than Steelers in terms of their chances to win Super Bowl next yer, then i don't argue with you further more only that i just doubt it. |

#20 Posted: 2/6/2013 3:30:52 AM I think these are good picks: Patriots 6/1 Saints 16/1 Cowboys 30/1 Chargers 40/1
The Cowboys have loads of talent. The Chargers are great when they have a healthy offensive line-they haven't the last 2 years. Patriots are a serious threat, again. Saints get their coach back.
One team I would NOT pick would be the Steelers. Team has gotten too old. They need a better offensive line, too.
Wouldn't pick the Skins either. Gave up a ton of picks for RG III and I don't see RG III ready to play like his old self in 2013 (2014 maybe).
Jets, wouldn't pick them either. Team is a mess. Don't see them turning it around all the way in time to win the SB.
But to really get into it, IMO, you'd have to look at each
individual position, the draft. Haven't done that yet, so please take my opinion as
not a serious opinion yet.

Well then... I'm sure it won't be Dallas or Washington.
Keep checking this link... oh... and thier opponents are already listed here.
2013 Philly Eagles Home Game opponents - Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, San Diego, Arizona
Could it be KC with Andy Reid
If it's the Giants... Then I'm on board for this trend.

#22 Posted: 2/11/2013 3:00:20 PM Actually that's a great point Skub. Philly with that p*ssy schedule and Kelly coming in
Vick I think may be over the hill
Got to look at the schedule.
Broncos' p*ssy schedule put 'em with home field in the playoffs (didn't finish it of course)
