"Sometimes you just have to say - What the darn!" Booger - Risky Business
Each game the Ravens have been underdogs they have won the game and I am convinced the Ravens are going to win this game! Reason ? Joe Flacco - among other things
Lots of talk about Kapp but not much about Flacco - Flacco has been through the wars vs some of he leagues best..where Kapp has fought only 2 battles. Flacco is playing better than Kapp but not getting much respect which blows me away. Flacco was a play away from a Super Bowl should have beaten the pats last year but his wr dropped the ball and his kicker missed a chip shot but that's not his fault - and to lose like that and come back to that same stadium and dominate the best team in the league is incredible and it shows that the Ravens are on a mission! Bouldin and Smith are Making plays and ray rice is as good as they get!
That victory in Denver was insane!
This Ravens team reminds me of the Giants of last season in so many ways. The Giants beat the falcons at home then they go on the road to beat the miners than go on the road again to beat the Super Bowl champ packers- Ravens won a game at home then went on the road 2 x and won and in grand fashion
Just as the packers had done 2 years ago
The Giants had a hot QB and a tough Defense - just like the a Ravens do this year. So similar it's scary yes kapp is hot but. It in the fashion of flacco and manning - passing wise
Let's talk about kApp For a moment - good quarterback -young strong and fast wih a great arm and instincts and I give credit for what he has done let's just ask what exactly has he done this post season He beat an over rated and injured packer team had the flu amd they had to travel and play a night game across the country which is a bad spot to be sure?
The pack did not expect kapp to run riot and they were completely unprepared for this aspect but now that that secret is out and ATL kept him in check
He beat an ATL team that has just one playoff victory in like 20 years and were close to losing that one game - clearly not an accomplished team with any history of winning big games add to that they had 2 turnovers in the 2nd half and failed to score a point after halftime - nice passes thrown by kapp I admit
Kapp hasn't been hit much - GB barely touched him and ATL didn't get to him often - lets see what happens when he does get some heavy pressure from the Ravens who are tough customers. Guys like Ed Reed and Suggs who is a beast! The pack and atl have anyone even close to those guys?
And last but not least Ray Lewis - this team would walk through fire for him and want him to go out on top!
Going for glory here with the money line but life is short - so I might as well enjoy it while I can!
Good luck as always

Do you mean that heavy pressure like they showed against the Patriots which produced zero sacks?
This is not the same Ravens defense as years past. Suggs is not healthy, Reed is not going to sack anyone, and Ngata is not playing at the level he's accustomed to.
Keep in mind that the Niners have maybe the best offensive line in football. And when facing a guy like Kapernick he's going to be much harder to sack than a statue like Peyton Manning.
I doubt we'll even see more than one sack from the Ravens tomorrow.

True they didn't sack Brady but then again he got rid of the ball within 3 seconds each time but there was lots of pressure -he threw the ball away many times to avoid the rush - I think Reed will blitz once maybe twice but we have not seen kapp get hit much and I think the ravens will confuse him enough where they will get some sacks even with that good o"line who's strength is run blocking! |

#18 Posted: 2/5/2013 12:09:24 AM Gold Rush is the man. He called this one from the very start. He didn't buy into all the 49er gayness and love. He predicted every Ravens game correctly in the playoff this year going 4-0, while I was there at every step of the way being a nay-sayer (including up until the super bowl, when I finally changed to Ravens ).
Major props to da Rush man. Very under-appreciated asset here at Covers. Too bad most of the people on Covers aren't 1/10 the Rush.
