During the season, there are many factors that play into games. Things like testing out personnel, plays, schemes, etc. These can all affect the line of the game, and sometimes even the outcome. In the playoffs, there is 1 factor at play, and that is to WIN THE GAME. Therefore, during playoffs, I only bet the outcome, not the spread.
With that said, I think NE and DEN are pretty safe bets to win straight up. But -400 and -430 really arent great odds to be parlaying, but I really like SEA. Once you throw in SEA +120 you get odds that pay 2.4 times.
So in essence, this is more or less a play on SEA but maximizing my odds by getting paid double what I would normally get paid for betting SEA straight up.
Any thoughts on this strategy? Anything someone has to add?
