Not a good start to the Playoffs but that's exactly what it is...the start...you won't see me shy away from posting a losing record. Wash cost me some units...3 plays to be exact as I had them +3, +3.5 (counted as two losses) and 2H. I'm sure many will disagree with these plays, but that's how it goes.
Denver -9.5
Manning owns Baltimore (9 straight to be exact) and this doesn't change under a new team. A team that is arguably better than his old colts teams of past, certianinly defensively. He owned Lewis, Reed, Suggs, etc in their prime...now the Ravens are a shell of themselves. I don't see how Balt will keep up offensively or defensively for that matter...I expect a drubbing.
SF -2.5
I can understand the GB love...you get a high powered offense and the best QB in the NFL with points against a second year inexperienced QB in Kap. Niner fans at my work who are novice bettors are even asking how is SF favorite. Well, fortunately for SF backers it doesn't come down to Roders vs Kaepernick. SF better overall team...Roders can get his 300+ yds and that may still not be enough....just ask Minn when he threw for 350+ and they still lost in wk 17. He also threw for 300+ in the first matchup with SF and it wasn't enough. SF IMO is being overlooked in this matchup. They have already proven they can beat top tier QB's all year. If there is one team that I have been spot on about it's the niners...hitting 5 of my last 7 SF games...losing the Ariz game on that crazy 4th and 24!
Seattle +3
This game I was going back and forth on...hardest game of the bunch for me. I normally would side with Atl in this spot, but I can't get passed Atl narrow escapes this year. We all know Seattle has been lights out and it's not a fluke. They are a tough team and clicking on all cylinders. Will be interesting to see how Atl fares vs Sea. run game...I'll ride the hot hand of the Seahawks here.
Houston +10
A lot of Den/NE teasers and ML parlays will be pending the outcome of this game. After backing NE in the first meeting, I believe Hou has a great shot to pull the upset. This game reminds me a lot of NE match vs NYJ in the 2010 Divisional round I believe. 3-4 weeks earlier NE thumped NYJ on Monday night football only to be meeting them as -10 faves in the divisional round. Now we have the same situation here with Houston. Houston comes in here with no pressure. They are "suppossed" to get beat up as they did in the first meeting. That game got ugly quick...things snow balled one after another. Houston will put up a fight...and will be able to move the ball. The key is converting TD's as opposed to FG. I was all over NYJ and will be all over Houston here.
Good luck everyone and enjoy the games!

Agree with all but Seattle. Atlanta needs to step up in this spot. They've been knocking at the door for 3 years. I predict they will. Best of Luck Cal Bear.

This door knocking deal hasn't worked since Bum Phillps told us that this year we knocked on the door....next year were going to KNOCK IT DOWN. Whatever happened to Warren Moon and those door knocking Houston Oilers?
Actually Getty, I don't even know if your old enough to have heard ole Bums speech.

Calbear I'm with you, completely torn and undecided about seattle/atlanta game. I feel that seattle is the better team all things being equal. But with clemens injury, all the extra travel and stress that brings, short week to prepare; i'm very conflicted on what the effect will be or if there will even be a noticeable drop off.
