That's the reason for the post, not sure what people's reasoning is for taking MInnesota? Green Bay has a reason to play this game also. If this was Week 5, Green Bay would be 6-8 point road favorite.
Line is small because of what Minnesota is playing for. That doesn't make you the better team soley because you're desperate.

The easiest play on the board rarely is! If I were you tread lightly if you are on GB. Personally I am leaving this play alone and I am a Vikings fan. I think MIN wins outright but I am not betting it.

With ya Midwest...GB NEEDS the win and 3 is a nice number. Bottom line is Minny is all about AP and thats it. The guy rushes for 100 and they lose. Hes needed to rush for 200 every game to win. And each game they have been up so they can puound w him. Not today. They get down and have to lean on Ponder.

Peterson ran for 86 last week on the road against the texans and they won easily.
The line is exactly right. 8 point road dogs when they played in green bay. So 3.5 is actually giving the Vikings an extra point or so. Line is at 3/3.5 because it's a key number and bookmakers know they will get heavy action on Green Bay as always.
Ponder gave the game away against the Packers last time, but Ponder has been playing well since then, and is the reason the Vikings have been winning games.
I'm not guaranteeing the Vikings win or cover but I would be worried taking Green Bay here. Vikings also 3-0 this year ATS as home dogs, take the 3.5 with the Vikings.

Minny has motivation as well, even more considering the Pack are already IN the playoffs. It's not ALL about motivation, there is also who is playing better, matchups, and home field. Im not on either side but lean Vikes +3.5

Packer backers get ready for AP in the end zone on the regular and the horn blasting all game. Green Bay rolling out Ryan Grant in his wheel chair for their starting RB.
