Yeah, I hear you. I enter the Carib Contest which has you pick 10 each week, so I played most of them and picked 55% or +9.4 units for the year.

I played another contest where you pick only 5 and didn't do as well - just a little over 50% and probably break even or down a little after the juice.

I've heard both arguments. Best is to play games you feel pretty good about and not limit yourself to a number and not play some just to have action. Or assign 1 to 3 stars to each and only bet the 2s and 3s at 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 units.
