Its going to be a great last week of the season ![]()
So many games with playoff importantce....
It sure will be ironic depending on what Chicago does for this game. Sure would be funny to see Bears fans rooting for GB to win....
But, I dont think it will even matter. I think the Bears will get crushed by Detroit ![]()
Anyways, or this game. It is tough to root for what I personally want to happen here. As great is a bye is, I think a bye hurts this GB team. However, with the teams that are in the playoffs, having either Sea or SF come to Lambeau would be a huge advantage. I wouldnt be too upset if they lose this game, but an extra week might get this team healthy, although it might hurt the rythme like last year. Two years ago, they ended the year strong and didnt get a bye and just kept on trucking, and I would prefer the same to happen this year.
As for the game. Seems the board is split thus far, with maybe a slight lean towards Minn at home with the points.
Both teams come in with good win streaks, at as much as Minn last week in Houston was nice, it might be alittle overrated. Houston may have the best record, but they are probably the 4th or 5th best AFC team. They also beat a bad Bears team at home. I think the win @ St Louis was most impressive, as St Louis is a very physical team.
As for GB, well...what can I say! Ha...they are playing the best ball all year and getting healthier every week. With Matthews back, it makes the defense 10000% better. Shields is back and playing the best ball I have seen him play in his career.
It looks like Jordy will be back, but they will probably hold out Cobb. I cant wait to see this offense when everybody is back in the playoffs. They havent all played since about week 4. Finley has finally appeared this season which is great. Woodson still wont play, but they secondary is playing very well withouth him.
The idea around the league is GB has a "swiss cheese" defense. Well, that defense is 7th in the league in points allowed ![]()
GB has 4 losses this year. Well, 3 in my eyes. SF came out strong week 1, then we got robbed in Seattle, fell asleep in Indy and didnt show up in NY( I know, GB tried right )
Alot of people on this site claim GB is overrated....but...
This team has won the superbowl, followed it with a 15-1 season, now 12-4 or 11-5 year with half their starters injured more than half the year.
Fact is they are healthy and getting better every week. Grant gives them a somewhat power run game they were missing, and Harris/Green have been running better.
Minn cant pass. Without Harvin this team is lost. I obviously seen both Bears games, it they look like a joke on any pass deeper than 7 yds. But, they have the man running the ball. AP is an amazing story. So many props to that guy and what he is doing. I wouldnt even be upset if he exploded and broke the record. I root for him every game coming off that injury. AP rushed for a ton in GB, but 145 came on 2 runs. He had under a 4 avg on the rest. Ponder will have atleast 2 TO.
Fact is, even if AP breaks the record, I dont think it will be enough. If GB comes out hungry for the bye, they wont lose this game.
GB is the best dome team in the league
We play better and faster on turf. Not going to look it up, but almost positive Rodgers has the best current win % indoors.
Its going to be a rocking stadium, but that shouldnt matter. I hope the Bears lose so GB winning doesnt matter but.....
GB wins this game by 13+![]()
Best of luck to all.....going to be great last week of the season, and even better playoffs ![]()
