Really looking forward to this game. For me the season really starts tonight. With so many teams battling for the playoffs this looks like a brilliant end to a great season.
This game seems to have split the covers community and I have enjoyed the back and forth debate. I feel both sides have made great points and is is what makes this game so interesting.
I have played the Texans +5.5. The reasons being are as follows. Of all the debates the one thing I haven't seen much of is the loss of Gronk to the Pats. At some stage his presence will be missed. Add in the fact Edelman is out as well and the Texans get back JJ means injury wise the Texans seem healthier for this game. This is a key stat for me.
This is why I have played them. 11-1 team that kniws how to win close games, done little wrong getting 5.5 (from 3.5) points on a team missing key players. Vegas is begging you to take the Pats.
I do worry that this game could end up like the Giants v Saints game yesterday and the Texans game at Baltimore twice last year where u have one team being competitive but still finding ways to turn the ball over and lose. Still the Saints right now are not a good football team and these type of teams (Saints, chargers, Lions etc) seem to find ways to lose. I believe the Texans have matured into an elite team. Not Super Bowl winners but not far off it therefore I believe they keep this competitive.
I am trusting that the Texans are for real and that is a HUGE assumption to make. That is why I see both sides if the argument. Still I just feel Gronks loss effects the Pats tonight and this game ends up being a close one...

They want to give you the impression Everyone is taking the Pats so they move the line up. An example this year is Giants v 49ers. Line starts at -4.5 for San Fran by kickoff it was -7. Giants won ml. They are throwing out the bait looking for the hook.
Come on. Pats missing Gronk, Edelman, struggled offensively against Miami and now up against 11-1 team and the line moves like that. They want to give the impression Pats are money. This is the trap. Just wait and see....

Ok, you could certainly be on the right side, but i disagree that line movement in a game between 2 different teams 2 months ago has any correlation with this game. You could look at line movement from any other game on any other weekend and find the contrary. Good luck anyway, Im on the over.
