When I BET nothing but square/public plays 10 years ago, I LOST my PANTS

Times have changed, Joe public who doesn't know anything about football is kicking ass and the sharp gambler is losing his pants.. Tampa,GB,CINCY and the Skins were plays my goofball brother in law played ATS and in a 4 team parlay. There is no edge or advantage in betting NFL anymore. The average Joe can win as much as the guy busting his brains capping.

In the last few weeks, if you put money on the better team, you made a killing.

Sharp: A bettor who gets the best number on a consistent basis.

Tell me what the edge was betting kc and carolina in these games. Are they suddenly better teams just because they're at home. Carolina bettors got moosed a bit but what possible edge was their in betting either them or kc as a so called "sharp" bettor. Kc put forth a spirited effort on DEFENSE last week, and honestly their defense was pretty solid today. Still doesn't change the fact that they have by far the worst 2 qb's in the league. If you can't score you can't win. Period. 

I'm sure sharps are frothing at the mouth to take the steelers tonight also. Can i ask why, they have 2 of their best playmakers missing on offense, and also 2 missing on defense. They have a rusty terrible qb who is 1-9 in his last 10 starts at the helm vs. a savvy defense. Im not saying the steelers won't win tonight, but just because a play looks like a "sharp" play doesn't mean its the correct play. Frankly the steelers are the best bet of the 3, but i don't like either side with byron fucking leftwich at the helm, or flacco on the road. It's a no bet imo.

I too lost this morning..

But "non public" dogs AZ, Cle, and Jax all won this morning..

Things are a little more even after first glance..

hou didnt cover, atl didnt cover and dallas almost lost to clev, there were plenty of shady outcomes, they cant all be the same or it would be too easy

I've been saying this for the past 2 months, I think we need to look at the NFL spreads and re evaluate on things, it seems like line makers are making some easy spreads look to easy, but they have been hitting

I dont totally disagree though, I have noticed in past 2 or 3 years the public wins more than they used to and the short lines dont go the sharps way as much as they used to

You get it and I am suprised people automatically assume sharps=betting dogs. It's all about the numbers.
