Good idea to pick Detroit to win straight up?

It's not that big of a risk to pick the lions to win since the lions were a playoff team last season and are desperate for a win. Lose this game and they can kiss the division goodbye. Always go for the desperate teams, remember the packers last Sunday night?

Very tough task on the road in a hostile environment but I think they keep it close. There's real value in the pick for sure.

I like the Lions + points but I wouldn't take 'em on the ML

They haven't won in 5 years in CHI.    I like to see more recent success as a visitor before I back them..  If they had won  in the last year or two, I might have more faith that they could win SU tonight

Detroit ML +230 & Cardnials +125 in a 2-team parlay for $100.......why not anything can happen?

ask jim nantz--then bet the opposite since he was on the wrong side of the fix script in the jets/pats game.

I really like the Lions at +7 but I also did a small play on the ML. With the way this season has been, expect anything. Good luck.

I would put some on ML if you like the Lions tonight...Patriots almost lost the game outright yesterday as a dd fav so anything can happen if you pick your spot. A fumble here or an int there. Jets had some crucial turnovers that hurt them in that game.

The Lions have never played well vs. Bears so they are going to be focus for this game.

I think being a hot team and getting a week off can do wonders for your team. If rusty - which I think chicago will be somewhat...a team can backdoor your ass.

Weather condition could/is be bad so this game could be a coin flip. Turnovers/defense been winning games for the Bears so if the Lions play a good solid game w/plus turnovers tonight - they have a very good shot of winning this game outright imo.

"the Lions can't afford to lose this game. They need a victory much more than the Bears because of their 1-3 start and current 2-3 record. Falling to 2-4 would put them in a really tough spot and make the odds of returning to the playoffs that much longer. "

Good thought guys.... I have some numbers that I configure when capping. Yesterday all the numbers I ran through my system were correct. All but Baltimore and that's probably because of the injuries. With that being said, Detroit fits in to win tonight.

They really needed a win a few years ago when they went 0-16, but they didn't get it.
