manning still is better than 70% of the qbs in the league, 20% of the league ties with him and 10% is better than him. with the afc west being week and the tough schedule, i see denver going 10-6 making playoffs. from there who knows. and yes, one man does not make a team but he sure as hell gonna improve it!!!!

#2 Posted: 7/12/2012 1:13:02 AM Manning is a great qb but I'm going to have to disagree with several, just because I don't think he will ever top what he used to be after this injury. |

#4 Posted: 7/12/2012 4:45:26 AM Manning is going out just like Favre and so many other once great players and Denver WONT be the last team he plays for. Lets look at the facts.
1. His QB rating has gone down every year since 2004. 2. He had a MAJOR neck injury and surgery. 3. Hes taken a full year off 4. Hes 36 years old!!! 5. How many QBs got BETTER after 36????? or any player for that matter.
He is one big hit away from a serious injury and I will be SHOCKED if he plays 16 games. From what I have heard he has looked mediocre in drills. Denver is not nearly as good as the public thinks and the only reason they made the playoffs is because the Raiders lost their last game! No one in this division will come near the superbowl. The 2 things I predict about this division are
1. The Raiders were 10-6 ATS last year and will be better. 2. KC WILL be God awful and finish dead last( bet against early the number will catch up with them at some point)

Here is where it really gets good.
Josh Freeman is better than Manning..............
Thanks for the laughs bud, but I'm worried that you're actually serious with this idiocy. Your state-appointed guardian should probably not allow you to watch sports related television. |

#15 Posted: 7/12/2012 7:08:15 PM ok, i see greater than signs and stopped at rg3 but if it's supposed to be arrows and point to the better player, then it doesn't look too bad. i might put shaub ahead of a 90% manning at this point but most people might disagree with me there.

#17 Posted: 7/12/2012 8:06:07 PM I agree that Shaub might be the only questionable on there. Also Flacco being tied with Manning is also iffy. I think that I would take 90% Manning over Flacco. |

#18 Posted: 7/12/2012 8:35:10 PM Peyton is FINISHED deal with it.
Slumdog KC will be bad because
1. Cassel is garbage 2. Lost starting center tackle and corner 3. Mcgahee is finished 4. Free agents picked up Brady Quinn Peyton Hillis 5. worst recievers in league 6. Brand new coach 7. 31st in offense LY and WILL be worse 8. Repulsive draft 9. All results of PISS POOR management.
Positives
1.Good D line 2. Decent defense as a whole 3. Average schedule 4. Garbage division.

#19 Posted: 7/12/2012 8:45:06 PM i'm not ready to write peyton off yet. i always knew he was one of the best but i don't think you get a full appreciation for just how good he is until you see him live and watch how he checks off and commands the entire field. he knows exactly what he's doing and makes the quickest reads you'll ever see. when you understand the game that well, i think it buys you a couple of extra years when your going downhill physically.

So you are saying that KC has a "brand new" coach and that this is a bad thing.
I thought Romeo Crenell was taking over? If this is true, then the coach is not "brand new" and, more importantly, this is a great thing that will make this a tight-nit ball club. You think it would be better to have Todd Haley another season?
KC is my sleeper team. With Crenell coaching and Kyle Orton playing QB, they have a good chance at stirring up that division especially at arrow head. |

#23 Posted: 7/13/2012 12:37:36 AM Cleveland is a dumpster team. It doesn't matter who the coach was.
Don't underestimate Romeo Crenell. KC is a young and maturing team and they all love and respect this guy.
They have weapons on both ends. With the right coaching and culture, this club will be dangerous.
This was one of the hottest teams early last season. This team could start out hot and make the playoffs this year.
I just read that safety Eric Berry declared himself 100% healthy. I think this guy made the pro bowl as a rookie. Him and flowers give that secondary a nasty look. D-line and line backing hold true, then watch out. |

#24 Posted: 7/13/2012 1:14:31 AM What about your boy Orton!
What does culture mean?
You will have to be specific and not use catch phrases for me to take you seriously. Media snipits and hunches are a dime a dozen. |

#25 Posted: 7/13/2012 1:44:10 AM I think Manning makes his final stand in Denver. He will play his last games as a Bronco under Elway, hopefully as a success. Can he lead them to a playoff appearance immediately? I think it's a good bet that he can, providing Denver wins the Steeler opener and at least one other game before their bye.
