I agree with Budwiser, they should be able to make playoffs, or at least contend for a wildcard. I think 8-8 is a more likely prediction, personally.

Yeah 8-8 is a strong possibility

Look for a lot of drama from the Jets, as always.  Good and bad

lol, it's arguably every football fan's soap opera...

I should have said I based 8-8 off there schedule. But I am rather excited to see if "Tebow Time" continues in NY. I'm guessing we have heard the last of it, at least when hes with the jets and Sanchez is healthy.

I'm excited to say the least lol

Tebow TIme is done.

I don't understand why Tebow didn't go to Jacksonville, other than he felt more wanted by the Jets.  The Jets had him lined up in special teams, and in the wildcat.

It really makes you wonder just what the hell they're thinking.  I'm not sure they even know what they're thinking at this point.

If you remember, the Denver Broncos were a disaster when Tebow took over.  He took that team to the Divisional Playoffs.

Now granted he played some absolute stinkers of games, and had miracle 4th quarter comebacks that should have nevere happened but...

He had that team and town on a high.  And he was a young guy.  And they shipped him out for a low round draft pick and picked up a veteran who's one of the best ever, but may not even last through the season.

It just looks like a potential disaster for both Denver and the Jets, or am I missing something here.....

Tebow didn't have a choice. He got traded to the Jets.

2 things:
-Tebow did have a choice.  Denver was going to trade him to the team he chose.
-D*mn rite the guy got kicked in the balls.  It's not like he didn't sell tix-in fact he sold tix and merchandise on roids.  Add to that he won a National Championship at Florida, he was a class kid, and Denver set him up to fail.  Now how the hell does PEYTON MANNING of all things come into this....

Now I'm a Patriot fan so I will try to be as un-biased as i can when it comes to talking about any manning brother, but I really hope payton doesn't make it through the season(not to get a serious injury, don't want to hurt the guy lol) just so Denver can feel it. They really had no faith in the kid, which arguably so they the choice to do that, but one may think to themselves, "why doesn't the broncos keep tebow around to learn from manning..." It would keep tebow fans happy, the locals happy, and it would hype him up a lot more after the manning era is over and he has a shot at playing again. Oh, it would also potentially benefit him as well.

Not sure if manning asked him to be shipped out, or what the deal was, but regardless he sure took a step backwards (if that's possible) by going to NY, even if it was his choce/was not his choice.

I hear ya.  Denver has set themselves up for massive failure IMO.

You would think for a 7th round pick they'd keep the kid around just in case Manning doesn't survive the season.

It was his choice to go to the limelight in NYC.  For whatever reason, Rex Ryan likes him, and vice-versa.  I think Tebow going to Jax made more sense, because Tebow can run and Jones-Drew is an absolute monster.  Jax was Tebow's hometown, Christian and all that sh!t-NYC is run by person.

But hey......

Peyton Manning is a huge gaping question mark.

I think watching Peyton Manning in the preseason will  tell a lot. You'll be able to tell by the way he plays and comments about his play.

It really doesnt matter if Manning doesnt pan out in Denver, It was never really about Manning (I know thats hard to beleive)

It was all about John Elway getting rid of Tebow.

I own a sportsbar, SO I get to see every game, every week

When Elway would clap when Tebow made a play, He did it with a grimace.

His facial expression and body language was like, How am I gonna get rid of this guy now.

When Manning became available, Elway went all in, He had to,

To get rid of Jesus under center and not have the masses of fools in Denver go nuts, Elway had to bring in God himself and he did, He brought Peyton Manning in.

If Manning doesnt work out, Elway will draft a QB if Osweiler is not the answer.

Key Objective was to get rid of Tebow without the Fans going into an uproar.

Mission accomplished

Interesting things you guys been throwing around and all of them sound good.  But did you know.

The year Giants won the Superbowl, I believe 2008?  Jets immediately got Brett Favre to steal the headlines. This year, Giants won the Superbowl again, and guess what?  Jets immediately traded for Tebow to steal more headlines.  Jets has a problem with being the forgotten little sister of the NYC football team.  Before getting Tebow, acquiring Drew Stanton was the best move they did.  Now he's gone but oh well, that's old news and done.  Jets receivers have hinted that their stats are going to go down next year.  Jets are plagued with men with huge egos and divas so it's gonna be hard to control this team.  Even the NYC fans will be restless.  As soon as Sanchez drops a few passes, you'll be hearing Tebow.

BOL for the Jets.  The division has upgraded a lot with Buff boosting defense and Patriots being Patriots.

Yeah there's something to be said for the marketing angle of all this.  Favre drew up interest, so does Tebow.

Remember "undisclosed" Jet that said they had no chance to win with Sanchez.  So an offensive lineman (forget who) defends Sanchez, and the Jets say he's their starting qb and sign him to a megamillions contract.

Lo and behold after doing all that they go out and pick up Tim Tebow to provide "competition" to Sanchez.

Of course Rex Ryan opened his mouth and promised to shut up, but I don't see him nor the Jets doing that anytime soon.
I love wagering on/against the Jets...........

I agree with you on the marketing angle, too bad on both occasions it was for marketing only and not for wins.
