looks pretty even to me.  If you had to choose one out of a hat of QB's to lead your team you wouldn't be pissed if you got any of these guys.

You know what is funny about this post..... The NYG fans wanted Eli out of town in the worse was his first few seasons now he is GOD!... Way to stick with a young qb despite the public outcry to get rid of him.. Kudos Giants front office!

i remember how awful giants fans were to eli, everyone was frustrated, they expected more from him.  Well we got it, he is now a GOD here.

As well he should be.. Kid is a tough SOB and I am happy for him coming out from his brother's shadow and absorbing all the criticism from NY and whoever else calling him garbage..They all can kiss his ass !!!

WHY EVERYONE IS SAYING THAT ELI WON THE SUERBOWL AND WHAT ABOUT HIS TEAMMATES? DID HE PLAY ALONE? WHAT ABOUT MARIO´S CATCH NEAR TO THE SIDELINE ANOTHER RECEIVER WOULD LET IT GONE.BUT I´M JUST SAYING NOT MAKING CRITICS.

I never wanted Eli out of town. I defended him every chance I got on here and everywhere else. I am glad he is now looked at as one f the top guys in the league #3 at worst

Yeah, good to see the way Eli's hung in & proved his critics wrong. Coughlin too for that matter especially before he won in '07 - every year many were screamin for his ass.

I couldn't believe it when the talking heads were all in agreement that Eli is first ballot hall of fame. Then again, despite the baller suits and ties, they are a bunch of morons underneath.

The story here is the defense. Eli Manning is a good quarterback, But he's not even as good as Matt Shuab. Eli is NOT elite, let alone HOF. The giants pass rush came alive, the talent gelled at the right time and they had their opponents in a situation where when third down came the opposing offense got queasy at the thought of trying to make some order out of imposed chaos. San Fran was 0-13 on 3rd down conversions at one point, and you're going to give Eli the credit? Eli???

Eli is solidly average and playing with the best receiving core in the game.Over the last 6 games the giants held their opponents to more than 2 touchdowns less than those opponents usually score. That's why the giants won, because they held the pats to 17 points. If the touchdown machine tight end was healthy the pats get their 23-24 points and probably win.

How the giants got their d line to produce like that is what I want to know. This might sound crackpot pot it wouldn't surprise me if there was some type of artificial enhancement.

eli isn't in rodg, tom, drew class. but he is definitely better than schaub and at the top of the next tier. beating the jets, cowboys, falcons, packers, niners, and pats in a row is an incredible feat.

i'd take eli over rivers, schaub, flacco, and even stafford. but no one in their right minds would consider eli over rodgers, brady, or brees

Agree... People like to gloss over the fact Eli has thrown FORTY FIVE INT'S the last two years.. Good QB no doubt.. But I dont care how you slice the pie about stats 45 INT's is horrid .. Its the Mendoza line for QB's.. The only stat IMO for QB's that carry water.. Tip my hat to him but please 45 INT's does not make  me think he has hit elite yet..

Eli has 41 picks, plays outdoors, has a ring in the last 2 yrs and has Gilbride as his OC.
Brees has 36 picks, plays indoors, doesn't have a ring in the last 2 yrs and has Payton helping him game plan.

They are both great QB's! Brees is awesome, but I'd take Eli.

Under was never a doubt through the later part of second Q. i think you had Packers in last Super Bowl?

If Eli throws 115 TD passes without a INT he will still have FOURTEEN more INT's then Brady.. when they reach 300 TD passes... Eli over Brady...

brady without a doubt.... if the mannings chose a sport to play other than football.. brady would have 6-8 rings already

Stats are nice. Ask Marino and Fouts. How many rings does Brady have since Eli came in the league? One less ring and Eli beat him twice for his two.

Yeah I've been on a good streak regarding the playoffs for a good number of years now. Thanks.

And back to the topic, if rings was all that matters, wouldn't Bill Romanowski be the greatest lb at least in the modern era? The guy has like four rings.
