If New England runs the ball twice starting with 2nd and 11 from the Giant 44 with 4:06 left, they run it to the 2 minute warning before they have to punt. That is if they don't get a first down and run out the clock or kick a fg.
Instead they throw two incompletions and stop the clock twice for a team that wasted 2 timeouts.
You hear people say football "is a game of inches" Bullshit! It is a game of seconds.

it was bad play calling that gave giants a break. they need to run low risk playes. they didnt need a td.not welker dropp.....it was a tough catch!

I was just rewatching some of the highlights. On the Hail Mary pass, I wish Welker and Gronk hadn't stopped running when the ball was sailing into Hernandez's hands. They stopped running and got caught watching the ball when they should have kept running and converged on the ball in case Hernandez dropped it or make a play for a fortuitous bounce (which there was). Gronk still almost caught it but that delay probably cost him a great chance at making the TD.

You&#x27;ve got arguably the best QB ever (if he wins this game), and you&#x27;re just gonna run twice and punt to the most clutch QB this season?&#xD;&#xA;New England put it in Brady&#x27;s hands, who put it in Welker&#x27;s hands, and dropped it. If Welker makes that catch, it would have been very difficult for the Giants to win, needing a TD and only having 1 timeout and probably 2 minutes. &#xD;&#xA;But it didn&#x27;t happen. Season&#x27;s over, Get over it.

Naaaa...you ask me, they should have thrown it on first down.  The slowed it down as much as possible and that was damn stupid if you ask me.  Just play like they always have....
