I couldn&#x27;t believe it when the talking heads were all in agreement that Eli is first ballot hall of fame. Then again, despite the baller suits and ties, they are a bunch of morons underneath. The story here is the defense. Eli Manning is a good quarterback, But he&#x27;s not even as good as Matt Shuab. Eli is NOT elite, let alone HOF. The giants pass rush came alive, the talent gelled at the right time and they had their opponents in a situation where when third down came the opposing offense got queasy at the thought of trying to make some order out of imposed chaos. San Fran was 0-13 on 3rd down conversions at one point, and you&#x27;re going to give Eli the credit? Eli???Eli is solidly average and playing with the best receiving core in the game.Over the last 6 games the giants held their opponents to more than 2 touchdowns less than those opponents usually score. That&#x27;s why the giants won, because they held the pats to 17 points. If the touchdown machine tight end was healthy the pats get their 23-24 points and probably win. How the giants got their d line to produce like that is what I want to know. This might sound crackpot pot it wouldn&#x27;t surprise me if there was some type of artificial enhancement.

The Giant defense got better when Osi and Tuck got healthy. It is hard to imagine there are still people doubting Eli Manning. They have gone 8-0 in their last playoff games with two neutral fields and five visiting stadia, and he has outplayed every other QB, including the vaunted Tom Brady twice. Matt Schaub? Give me a break, please.

besides, Eli and the Giants only beat one team for the two rings which basically means that Eli has got the Patriots Number.come to think about it, most of the players from the 2008 started last night. eli is good but not great. Giants D is good enough to win this game but its far from Elite.

&#xD;&#xA;Agree with you man.  Eli knew he was elite before the everyone did.  I always started the bar conversation that Eli would win more rings than Peyton and everyone would laugh.  Can we just appreciate what he&#x27;s doing at all?  and im not getting into how he ranks among the elite, but can we agree that he is?

&#xD;&#xA;One lead to another.  If welker catches the pass, the patriots would have the ball on the giants 25 1st and 10 with under 4 mins to go and not having to snap the ball until 3:30 secs to go.  Giants had only one timeout and the 2 minute warning.  And had a good chance to put the game away.  But since he didnt catch the ball Eli got his chance to shine.  When he took the field we kinda knew what was coming.  He has repeatedly proven himself in clutch situations and to do it once again on the biggest stage proves he is elite.  I where we differ is in our definition of elite, but Eli is going to be a Hall of Famer and that to me is elite.  There is only a few QB&#x27;s at the moment that are obviously headed there as well Brady, Brees, Big Ben (I know he has to fix his image, but numbers are getting there and has 2 rings already), Manning brothers and Rodgers.  (Although Rodgers just has to pad his stats from here on out, everybody loves this guy you can tell he&#x27;s in) Thats the elite class for QB&#x27;s IMO.  Also, games are won or lost by points not yardage.  The patriots are the 31st ranked team in terms of yardage.  But games arent won or lost by yardage.  The Patriots were 15th out of 32 in points allowed.  They allowed a lot of passing yards because they were ahead in games and teams had to pass.  But they didnt give up a lot of points.  But all in all it doesnt matter what defense you do it against he has 2 rings.
