WHICH WAY WILL THE LINE MOVE???

Question

Right now this is the only question we should all be asking ourselves. Before you figure out who you think will win and how many points will be scored it is most important to know where the line is going the next 2 weeks. My book already opened the line at NE -3 (-120) and an o/u of 55.5. Now I'm not Nostradamus, but I gotta think theres no way the giants get more than a fg in this one so if anything I think it sticks at 3 or moves to 2.5. Also I think the o/u will go down before it would go up given the history with these teams being low scoring this season and in the sb 5 years ago. Anyone who knows what they are talking about have any predictions?

I'd say the line stays around the same begging for Pats money.. I see the total going up..

No one wants to believe that the Giants will win again in this 2007 rematch. It seems the cards have it for the Pats this year.

But the way these game have been going who the hell knows.

The Giants do have enough talent to keep up with the Pats on offense and their pass rush can sure cause problems for Brady as it did in 2007

The line will go to -3 and sit...............then maybe a day before the line may jump back to -3.5 and the day of it will go up to -4.

I&#x27;m really surprised this line came out giving a hook to Gmen bettors.Not that super bowl lines are fishy typically, but have pretty much not seen anyone liking the Pats.  The over/under is mind blowing.  talk about begging you to go under.  especially with a 44 pt total last time in November.

I think it drifts lower to 3 or less.... Lots of money gets bet on NY.

Pats too, but NY is a big money team. this is not Jacksonville vs Minnesota.

Lots of hype will go into this one.

I have a feeling the line with actually go down first, then go back up near game time. Sharps will be on Giants, public on Pats. If you like Pats i would keep and eye on the line and wait to get 2.5. I think the best line you can get for Gmen is 3.5.

I&#x27;m not sure if 55 is begging for under money or not. Traditionally the super bowl total line is inflated because it is the game the public bets on most and the public likes betting overs. The perception is that Brady and Manning or both playing great football and as such the ball will be slung around quite a bit. Game is indoors so any adverse weather conditions are out. Also both teams are ranked near the bottom in pass defense (pats 31, giants 29th) while pass offense happens to be the strength of both teams. I agree this total is inflated a bit and if it somehow goes any higher I&#x27;ll likely jump on it, but I don&#x27;t necessarily think its set that high because the books are begging for under money.

55 is the right number and a tough number.If NE gets a 2 score lead early this game is gonna go over for sure.I can see Eli putting up 30+ he will have a better game than he did in November but NE is still gonna get their pts they had 438 yds in the last gm but had 4 TOs.We will see these 2 teams ran the ball 53 times between them last time.

down to -2.5. Will the line keep going down with many of the "experts" on ESPN loving the giants? Or will the pats get pounded at -2.5 and send it back to 3?
