#1 Posted: 1/22/2012 12:09:52 AM Live weather update a minute ago - heavy rain during game with gusting winds and a muddy field. Wtf? Throw home feld advantage out the window. I don't see how fans get into this when you consider the terrible weather. Expect lots of umbrellas and perhaps some empty seats. I'm on SF but this worries me for 1 reason only. A DB slipping and Eli throwing a deep one for an easy 7.. Not too excited right now but I'm still confident the Niners special teams and D + Gore get it done.. |

Fans not into it?
Are you crazy? The atmosphere will be raucous. They could be playing in a hurricane and with a Super Bowl berth on the line a bunch of drunken fans probably wouldn't care one bit.

Andy I hope you're right. The weather report from San Fran a few minutes ago confirmed heavy rain and 30mph gusting winds , muddy field. Maybe I was stretching it with some empty seats but holdings umbrellas and cheering is a lot different than sitting in your chair on a nice sunny calm pleasant day. Well see bud. |

Empty seats..lol
It's a given that the stadium has seen much better fan support from 2 decades previous but not nemore.
Go check the resale price of tickets..500$ for bleachers seats facing the end zone. Worst seats in the house, 500$ |

Plenty of seats for under $350. Fail.

The water there is colder than here in Vancouver. Since we have Vancouver island protecting us. It's gets really cold there at night in the summer with the wind, much like Vegas gets cold at night in the winter. Go north two hours to Redding, California and it feels like Hawaii at night yet just 2 hours down in San Francisco it's always cold at night. It's because of how the bay converges.
Cold weather and fan support are not factors to consider in this game. You've obviously never been to Frisco. |

Wow, you found one resaler with tickets under500$. There are many with tickets selling at 500$ in the balcony You also have to include taxes and services fees which are huge for resellers. |

Dude an SEC game costs more than this one.......
You can't tax your way from $325 to $500 unless you happen to sell the tix in Belgium

#15 Posted: 1/22/2012 12:32:36 AM Service fees typically are 50$ a ticket at that price. And anyway who cares, there are lots of resellers out there. Not just one. I really don't care to pull them up and waste my time on a moot point. |

Your point is the city is 9er crazy. The worst ticket is $500.
Obviously, they don't care all that much about this game. You can get a quality ticket to the NFC Championship game for $350 (+ fees).

Umbrellas are allowed in the stadium provided they do not obstruct another fan’s view or pose any safety hazard.

#21 Posted: 1/22/2012 1:13:17 AM I heard that teams with the best offense wins in rain and snow conditions.
Colts defeating the Bears at the super bowl in the rain. Patriots defeating the Titans at home in the snow. The Jets defeating the Vikings on monday night football in the rain.
The Giants should defeat the 49ers if this theory is true. |

Ever heard of Tom Brady?
He's a quarterback who plays for the New England Patriots. They had a good offense.

#25 Posted: 1/22/2012 1:22:10 AM Bud those Pat teams won those playoff games by shutting down Manning physically beating up the colt wideouts. When Brady faced Manning in the Dome, Peyton sent him packing. |
