Unreal....Long time Raider fan and getting sick of the new coach new philosophy new players every year. No continuity and they have fired some of the highest paid coaches around. Rob Ryan from Dallas was once a Raider D coordinator....

the more things change, the more they stay the same.... even without al davis, the front office is in dysfunction...... don&#x27;t know how you can blame the coach, the teams was crippled by injuries to their best offensive players...... there is probably more to this story.

The Steelers are on their 3rd coach since 1969 (42 seasons). The Raiders have had 9 since 1996 (15 seasons). Is that incredible or what?

Impossible for a team to build any chemistry or continuity with this revolving door that's become the Oakland Raiders head coaching position. IMO the last 2 coaches did good enough jobs to keep the job and try to build something.

this is the changing of that bullshit of the old raiders under al.

the packers are taking over that team and i highly doubt the firing of coaches will be the norm anymore.

hue jackson thought he was going to run that team and tried to trading away two great draft picks for carson palmer mid season.

any GM walking into that situation with NO draft picks but one 5th rounder must clear house as that is completely unacceptable.

this is a good change for the Raiders, for once. This year its just circumstance.

I sat at every home game and watched all the road ones. Hue did have a little swagger and he did have that inspirational mentality but it was a lot of hot air.

We just broke the NFL RECORD for penalties, the discipline he preached never kicked in.

We got him the qb he wanted and wasted high draft picks to do so, Carson played alright but he really is nothing more than a guy who has made the playoffs twice in his career and exited in the 1st round both times.

Hue had some AWFUL play calls this year that cost us some games. His inexperience was on display quite a few times in the blowing of the buffalo and detroit games. The guy goes for the throat when simply taking out a leg would secure victory. You don't throw 30 yard shots down the sideline when its 3rd and 3 and a first down will end the game just because u know you'll have 1 on 1 coverage with no saftey....HE DID THIS A LOT, even on 4th and inches.

I agree with wise, this is the right move considering we're bringing in a new GM. If the GM wants a new guy he should get one cause at the end of the day Hue talked the talk and walked the same 8-8 path that Cable did. McFadden or not, he's only one man.

Raiders are trying to be first on the minority train but it doesn't work. Works for Pittsburgh, though.

Raiders should have never gotten rid of Tom Cable. He had that team on the rebound.
