Atlanta Falcons @ New York Giants
Atlanta is 3-5 SU and 2-5 ATS against teams with a winning record this season and are 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS against sub .500 teams. They are a team that beats up on the bottomfeeders and really struggles against pass-heavy teams as their secondary is nothing to be proud of. After that beating they took in GB in the playoffs last year they did absolutely nothing to retool their coverage schemes or secondary and instead traded up all their picks to get Julio Jones. Atlanta is a team that really struggles on the road and I really like the Giants momentum and confidence going into this game. Lets take a look at who Atlanta has beaten this year:
-Seahawks
-Colts
-Panthers
-Vikings
-Buccaneers
-Jaguars
As you can see they have beaten a lot of crappy teams this year and struggled against the rest. When facing the other 11 current playoff teams the Falcons are only 1-4 SU and 1-4 ATS in the regular season whereas The Giants are 6-3 SU and 6-3 ATS against teams with a winning record this year. I really feel Eli will have a big day against this overrated Falcon defense. The Falcons should be able to put together some effective long drives, but I don't think it will be enough in the end.
