Your missing the point. It doesnt matter how good he is. What matters is he is popular on the radio, and people definitely follow him, which makes his statement absolutely correct. He moves lines. Not directly.

You got to open your mind laceumup. He definitely moves lines. If at the worst vegas moves it knowing his supporters are going to be t it.

You are on to one thing though. If the line doesnt move and he picked it, you got a great chance ont he other side of the game! Good luck.

By the way, 14 is about the toughest line to move, its easier to move 9.5 to 7.5

I love gamblin and I love sports....I think I've heard this guy's show once.

I can't believe he has any impact on line movement.....how many people follow him, there are a lot of gamblers out there....have to imagine the % that listen to him is small relative to the whole.

What else is that Vegas guy gonna say?  I bet he's thrilled to be on national radio EVERY WEEK.  He gets free publicity as a capper or oddsmaker.

It's not a day later or 4 hrs later.  It's at that very moment.

Do any of u have a line service?  You can see instantly when a syndicate group slam a number, they bet it and all the books move within a minute or two of the other.

Colin released all of these pics publicly 4 hours ago.  No line has moved an inch except for in the Ind/NO game, and it moved the OPPOSITE DIRECTION.

Went from Ind +14 to +13.5. 

If he moved #s, all of his bets at lines he took at 11am would not be available right now. 

Period.

But they all are available at the same or better #s.

He doesn't move anything.

And just to make another thing clear - the public does not move numbers.  Books won't budge an inch off of their position just because 5,000 stooges bet between 50 and 500 on a game.  They move on sharp action or huge whale money.

So who cares if he gives his plays out to millions of people.

If he really could move a line, it wouldn't take 4 hrs.  Do you guys know of real guys who move numbers?

Obviously syndicates but guys like RAS or Sharp football analysis - these guys release totals and the lines move within minutes. 

Cowherd releases a play and it is still there 4 hrs later?????  Yea, he moves # s all right!

Like most radio hosts, Colin is full of himself. That's not a knock, just comes with the territory.

So when he says he's moving lines, it's mostly tongue in cheek and just an attempt to get more people talking about and listening to him. That's all. Laceumup has got it right, there is much more to it than a Deejay says he's big on the Colts this week.

He certainly has the access to research and more of the inside scoop that you or I, So I would certainly hope he can pick'em a little better than .500. I do listen to his show from time to time here in Buffalo, lots of driving in my job, and I put much more stock into his comments about certain trends with the NFL or NCAAFB than his actual picks.

Like him or not, he's just doing his job and trying to bolster ratings.

Like him or not he's doing well this season like 20-10. He can be annoying at times but he seems to tell it like it is.
