Houston will win their division now that Manning is out but making the playoffs is one thing, winning the superbowl is a totally different animal. Houston hasnt made the playoffs in a long time from what i can remember, cant expect them to just make the playoffs and win it right away.. &#xD;&#xA;So houston made a big jump from prior to week 1 to now, lions jumped quite a bit, got them at &#x2B;4000 a couple weeks ago and after 1 week they are now 25-1. Green bay and Pats even increased their odds, they were already low but now even slightly lower at &#x2B;470 respectively.

Bookies just trying to cover the A$$e$ because if you get into the playoffs you got a chance. Look at Green Bay last year they didn&#x27;t even win their division and won the $uper Bowl as the 6th seed. As long has you are in the tournament you got a chance. You can also look at the New York Giants who won it all versus the undefeated New England Patriots so trust me no over reaction just smart business on the books parts.

the updated houston line makes a lot of sense in my opinion. it has to be considered that the texans might have a legitimate chance at going 6-0 in their division this year (not saying that it will happen, but they could very well be favored in every AFC south road game they play in addition to the home games. That would give them a great shot at not only a home game, but maybe even a bye week. It&#x27;s one game into the season, and for all we know they can be the same old texans, but for now the odds seem to make some sense.

&#xD;&#xA;i see what u are saying but i think houston is highly overated, just getting to the playoffs is one thing which i think they will for sure now but to be ranked up there (by the books) wiht the saints, baltimore and so on is ridiculous in my opinion. Maybe vegas thinks the public will be all over houston but i just think houston is acouple years from getting to the superbowl, i think they lose first round this year because they dont have the experience of even making the playoffs with these players yet.
