I agree...sorta. KC also didn't play their starting skill guys much in the offseason and you see what happenend yesterday. Still though, I'm on board with the Raiders. I believe they just play Denver well and they are much improved since 2 years ago.

Thought this was worth a look:
Denver usually starts the season well, posting an AFC-best 32-18-1 mark in season openers, including winning 16 of the last 22. The Broncos also have won 11 consecutive home games on Kickoff Weekend.

Guyz Denver will come out strong plus they want to revenge from last year lost to the Raider. Elvis Dumervil and Von Miller will bring pressure to the Raiders qb.
The Raiders have lost 11 straight prime-time games since Nov. 28, 2004, when they defeated the Broncos 25-54 on a Sunday night in Denver.

PSP101.....streaks are made to be broken, thats how vegas makes there money. But also Raiders may of lost 11 straight primetime games, but I believe that they are something like 8-2 against the spead with Denver.
Remember also Denver was one of the worst defenses last yr and just because they added one or two players dont mean that they can turn it around in one game. Oakland will have one of the toughest O's to detain, they can hit you with one of the top RB's in the game or check off and hit you with one of the track stars at WR for a long bomb. Alot of Defenses will have trouble with them.
On top of that Hue Jackson wants this game bad, he is a high energy coach, and his saying all thru training camp is that they are building a bully.....enough said

Denver +3....Hmmmmm

First off I want to thank everybody in here, I love it when there is no drama and just a good open discussion!!
808.... not gonna lie my heart is with my raiders, which is a good and bad thing. The good is because I get all the updates and know a little more than the average fan about whats going on with the team. Bad.....wellll Davis is killing me, I still have faith in him.
Werker... thanks I appricate your point of view!! Alot of concern about aso leaving, but take nothing away from Routt and Johnson they are both extreamly talented. Dont forget about the vet Lito he lost a step but can still teach these kids a few things, and he is a really good bump and run guy. Im not buying losing Miller is bad, the nation sat back and watched this dumbass do a piss poor job of blocking which we really needed in crunch time. Although Boss is not playing tonight he streaches the field better, has better averages, better blocker, and oh yea a RING. The best part is that we got him at half price of what Miller wanted, plus we think really highly of this Myers kid thats starting tonight.
Like the saying goes speed kills, Jason is very comfortable with this offense now. If Denver trys stacking the box to stop the run, it will will a slaughter on there CB's because there is no way they have the speed to keep up. Lets not forget how sharp JC looked in pre season too, what little he played he look pretty good and that was without his targets.

Well I did it!!!!! ![]()
Last year, OAK basically played against DEN second and third string defense due to injury. Now they are healthy and they fly to the ball, unlike last season's injury deflated team.
Jackson wants to win his first game, the same argument can be said about Fox as well.
Go Broncs!!!! ![]()

Last time I was at a game in Buffalo was 2008 and a Buffalo fan threw something and hit me in the back of the head. There were 8 of us all cheering for the Raiders but certainly not out of control. Who ever threw it was pissed off because the Raiders were up by 14 at the time. I'll never forget it because they went into that shitty prevent defense in the 4th quarter and Lindell kicked a field goal on the last play of the game to win by a point.
As far not liking the situation for the Raiders next weekend ...I hear ya but Buffalo played a perfect game yesterday and might be ripe to shit the bed.
