GREEN BAY PACKERS -7.5 +200 small
first off these are two great defenses and the two best teams without a doubt. im just going to go with the eye test to start, green bay looks like the better team, the best team in the league. rodgers in on fire and i dont give a dam what the defense is, he is to good right now. roethlisberger is a product of his defense. when he says he just plays ugly and its not pretty, that means im good but im not in the top group and i thank my d daily. if brady or manning had that d it would be lights out weekly. pitt won without him this year. i know mccarthy loves to run it no matter what but i really hope he doesnt here. starks wont get anything and its a waste of a play. pitts pass d is the weaker link and rodgers should be able to pass on it. if he has to scramble he can do that just as well, his receivers are great at the scramble drill. pitt only faced 2 good passing teams this year, new england shredded them at home and they lost at new orleans. both qbs threw over 40 times so i would expect the same from rodgers as if he's not in the class of top qbs hes at least playing like it. hes played in 3 dome games this year and thrown for over a 1k yards with 8 tds to no picks. as far as experience that is complete bullshit. do you a know team that won its first superbowl with experience going into it? how did experience work out for the buffalo bills 4 years in row? or the pats against the giants? and lets not forget pitt could easily have lost both, the refs gave them the first and a late win against zona on a great catch. pitt at home is scary especially with that d and the crowd but i think they lose a lot here on a neutral site against a hot team that has dominated away from home in these playoffs. pitt could have easily lost to balty and were shut out the 2nd half against the jets. i think they will really struggle against this gb d. lets not forget they struggled big time against baltys d...baltys offense gave that game away in the second half, and a hail mary pretty much on 3rd down late which i loved since i was on pitt. i really think gb wins the turnover battle also which will be a huge factor in who wins obvi. i may add the over also. gb 28 pitt 20
