The Patriots run into a rash of injuries just give them the Super Bowl.  They are without a doubt the best team in the NFL this year.  They were suppose to have a tight game against the 9-2 Jets and smoke them 45-3.  Then its off to Chicago to play those mean men of the MIdway in the freezing cold Soldier field and they only win 36-7.  Once again if they stay healthy including Brady just give them the damn Lombardi trophy.  Unless someone can name another team that can stop them.  Lets here who you have to put a stop to this machine.

You can;t argue they aren't the best team, but then again this is the NFL, anything can happen.  If a defense can have their number, they are still possibly vulnerable on defense.  I'm not saying it will happen, but it's certainly possible.  Between Baltimore and San Diego, if one or both of them make the playoffs, they could be dangerous.

NO, ATL, PIT, NYG, PHI all could beat them if they play a perfect game and Brady is off.  Not likely but possible.

Probably are the best team but I still feel like Pittsburgh is going to win it this year.

Brady DOES NOT LOSE AT HOME!

If Pats will have home field advantage. They will represent the AFC in the Superbowl.

LET THE CORONATION BEGIN!

I can't even say they'll make it for sure.

This NE defense isn't as good as what it appears when you look at the numbers to date.

No doubt Baltimore and Pitt can score on them.

I can't argue that.

He hasn't had a HOF receiver.

He hasn't had a HOF running back.

He has done THE MOST............................with THE LEAST.

Defense isn't good based on 4th quarter stats when games are at hand.  Name me 5 defenses in NFL with a better NT, MLB, CB, S combination than Wilfork, Mayo, McCourtey and Merriweather?

I knew i would hear this comment in here and its a good point but i think  come playoff time they will be using that year as a bar to beat, not meaning the 16-0 but not to take anyone lightly and get a jump on every team in every game through to the Super Bowl.  And like FrankieKnapp says with home field advantage throughout the only place they will be able to be beat is in the Super Bowl in Dallas Texas.  Not sure if there is a NFC team right now that could do that.

In the AFC maybe a real healthy Pittsburgh or if the Colts made it and have some of their walking wounded back especially a healthy Addai maybe one of them could give them a game.  The rest of the AFC right now would get eaten alive by this team including Baltimore, San Diego, Kansas City, Jacksonville none would have a chance.

I certainly agree.......Moss is a HOFer.

But he was there for a short time. He wasn't involved in the Superbowl years. That was my point. Brady has carried this team offensively.

D... i love ya man, and agree...but you are mistaken by saying SD as long as Norv is running the team....

Seriously?

5 players don't make a defense.

My statement was their defense isn't as good as it has appeared.

Look at the numbers. Im not going to argue about it.

Their defense aint shit! Unless you like being ranked 27th in yards per game given up.You do realize there is only 32 teams in the NFL right?

Just ask the hapless Browns who put up 34 on them and put that defense to shame. Thats right...The Lowlife Browns that couldn't muster a TD today against the Bills lmao!!!

Don't try to tell me about their great defense.

Yes Lucky for the Pats. The Browns won't be making the Playoffs.

Also, Belichick' Pats were horrible in Super Bowl, 1-3 ATS.

Nice rebuttle because you couldn't even come up with two. At any rate what defense has caused more turnovers than the Pats?  NFL is about scheme and turnovers that's how games are one not points allowed.  Keep fading them and I'll keep getting rich.
