Seattle@NewOrleans- Seattle+12..Just too many points too give to Seattle..Have gut feeling they may start clicking now that Hasslebeck has returned.
Indianapolis@NewEngland- Indy+3.5 ..For no other reason but Peyton is in my opinion the most elite QB in the league and New England can afford a letdown in this spot.

I am with you on GB & also taking the Texans +pts. I like the Texans getting all those points and they are a much better team on the road base on Win/Loss record.
I am looking at the ATL/RAMS game...and I am starting to lean the Rams at home. Call it a gut/situational play for me. I think the Rams are tough to beat at home and they are going to be fired up vs. the hot Falcons who will be landing this weekend.
Good luck.

I'm leaning ATL here, but I was also looking at the UNDER in this game. STL plays much better defense at home but ATL has been scoring a bunch recently.
Any thoughts?

As covers.com stated, the Overs have cashed 11-3 L14 so I think the Over trends looking good. The Falcons offense have been pretty consistance at putting up 25ppg and their defense are not as strong on the road. This game has a making of a shootout so I would lean Over but probably no play for me.

Last Sunday night when I heard about Henne and Pennington being out for this Thursdays game and with the Bears beating the Vikes, I knew that I would be on Miami come Thursday.
Why? Well, first off I don't think the Bears are a good team. They don't protect the QB well, they don't run the ball well, Cutler puts his defense on short fields and likes to turn the ball over in the redzone. Also, the Bears are the 2nd worst team in the league right now converting on 3rd down at only 29%. This biggest thing for me is that they rank so low in so many statistical categories, yet they have played one of the easiest schedules.
On the other side, Miami has one less win than Chicago (not really because the Bears really lost to Detroit in week 1) yet they've played a much tougher schedule. The only thing that scares me in this game is Devin Hester on special teams. However, Miami is 3rd in the league in converting on 3rd down this year and I'm hoping that they will move the ball enough that if they need to punt, they can kick it into the endzone or cause a fair catch. As far as Thigpen goes, I don't think he's all that bad. It's not like Henne was lighting it up before he got hurt. Thigpen has experience starting in this league. People want to point to his 1-10 record with the Chiefs, but he did all he could on a bad team. In those 11 Starts he threw 17 TD vs 11 INT's.
I think they simplify the playbook tonight, run some bubble screens to get Marshall (who only has 1 TD this year) involved and the Defense shows up and causes a turnover or 2 to get the win at home.

Congrats to all those who backed the Bears last night. The Dolphins defense showed up, but so did the injuries for the offense. I still don't think the Bears are a good team, but I can admit when I'm wrong...so once again, congrats to those who picked the Bears.
