surely the Saints defense is nearly on par with the Vikings? Then the major advantage is the Saints offense even if they don't manage to score the usual they will just have an extra TD up their sleeves to get over the line. Vikings are awesome both sides are equal but given the home field advantage and Drew Brees spectacular season thus far, the Vikings would need to play absolutely perfect to pull off this win

Felix Jones had some really good runs against that GOOD defense as you say. If it wasnt for a dumb fuck coach, who continually took Jones out and put the other big idiot in there, he may have had a good day rushing and maybe the score is a bit closer.

Edwards was limping really bad at the end of the game, he will not be a 100%. Vikes defense was good early in the season for the same reason GB was good, they beat up on shitty teams. Saints defense gave up only 21 points per game  and the Vikes 19 not much difference. The Vike gave up 29.9 points per game on the road, you have to factor this in.  coming in with banged up Dline, rookie LB in one of the biggest games of his life. Too much going on with the vikes for them to cover in this game.  I know what our record is if we score 29 plus, we average 31.

buzzmann66I will take your question..........In my opinion there are at least three weeks in the NFL where we will see abnormal things happening and yes it's the last three weeks of the season when teams have clinched their playoff spot and start gearing for post season play Minny and the Bungles are perfect examples of this in 2009.They got so far out ahead of the pack and then they reward themselves by taking a Sunday or two off...........be careful what you perceive to be true in the final weeks of the season...........we can trust the offensive and defensive numbers compiled for the whole season. Last time I checked the Vikings put up much better numbers on the defensive side of the ball and by definition numerically are better defensively.This is exactly why you put your wallet on the road dog. Between me and you I say the size of the Viking o-line will be two much for the saints defensive line to handle and see no hope of the saints defense slowing the purple team. I see Brees scoring but the viking d will get some stops and this will be the difference in the game.
