Mark My words here the game this weekend between the Colts and the Jets  will be an Indianapolis Blow out .I am not boasting  on anything  .I just know how Manning sits on the sideline and reads  up on every defense between every time he goes to  the bench and sits .I have seen it over and over and over every game he plays over the years .He has studied  and it has also been passed on to each and every player on this team that this is what we do here in Indianapolis This is what makes us good .You don't see Reggie Wayne or any of the older players that are there doing anything  boastful until they have done something very good and then a little maybe  but then it's back to work the celebration is short lived .Anyone  that thinks this game will be less than 7 points  in separation  will be absolutely proven wrong .They not only have to win a win is not enough to satisfy those whom they hurt the most buy not going undefeated .They must blow this team away .Now  when I say Blow this team away I mean it in Indy terms not in Minnesota terms like running up a score  because Indianapolis will not run a score up or throw any cheap last second passes when they are ahead by 20 points .What I am saying is this will not be any closer than 15 points at the end of the game and I look for a win by 17 or more points from Indianapolis to close it out at home and Go to the Superbowl on a high note .Think On this ? 1.They are in front of the same fans they lost in front of a few weeks ago 2.The Jets are very high on confidence coming in off a big big win over Sandiego  wich  the Colts were probably preparing to play and have trouble with and are very happy to see the Jets again in fact they wanted them last week .3. Each week they seem to get stronger and this week again they have  something to prove on defense .They will actually expose The Jets Defense and Put Sanchez on the ropes by halftime where he will have to throw the ball all the time instead of the run .Indy will show up this week and will prevail as the winner at home .4th quarter  will be Indianapolis eating up the clock as much as possible and a final prediction score  Indianapolis 27-10  over the New York Jets .Thanks Guys Good luck

Robb52 : This is not The Chargers  this is Indianapolis a whole different team I'm in no way saying change your bet if you bet on the Jets  go for it . I won't tell you who to bet  but I will tell you who I am going to put my money on and that will be the Colts and if I lose you can slam me all you want No problem .The Jets are where they are with some luck and good defense that is correct but the Colts have had more time than the Chargers to take a nice look at that Defense .and Manning has too.The Only chance the Jets have is to knock Peyton Manning out of the game .

Yeah loving the fact that the Jets are running their mouths, guy saying they can rattle Peyton.  That's a big motivating factor to a team like the Colts.

The colts pure points per game offense and defense is leaps and bounds better than the fraud you witnessed last week in SD

Fact is The Jets have a better Pass defense the The Ravens do.....The Ravens were beat by bad decisions by their players (and I am not entirely sold that they all were bad decisions) Pass interference that would of still resulted in a int.......Remember that one?
Ray Lewis leading with the head in the end zone (watched that play over and  over no way that was leading with the head)....Remember that one?

Punt Return that was called back due to a block in the back (watched that one over and over...the block was no where near the Runner and if the block was not made he still would of ran it back)

Manning had lots of time to throw and still was unable to really get it going against the Ravens......He should expect a lot more pressure and a lot better secondary then what he experienced against The Jets........

Colts run D is very suspect...and will have a ton of trouble defending against the 1 2 punch of Jones and Greene.....unless they can stop the Run....The great Peyton will not be on the field as much as he needs to be to win this game......

Nothing takes the life out of a team them the inabilty to stop the run.........This is where the game will be won......

These are not the same Colts with Marvin Harrison, They should of killed Baltimore. Lack of a run game by the Colts should keep this close. Ed Reed should of had a pick last week and the Jets do have a better Secondary than Baltimore. Think about this one my man. Colts have been lacking big plays.

BINGO, WE GOT A WINNER, BEST POST OF THE THREAD !!!!!!!

Indy's rush defense ranks 24th, ave per rush defense ranks, 19th.

opponents 1st downs rank 27th

3rd down percentage, ranks 31st in a 32 team league.

percentage of passes int, ranks 19th, QB sack percentage, ranks 23rd.

Highly likely Jets run the ball at will, Indy has alot of speed on defense, the best way to neutralize speed is run right at it.

I think the Jets cover here.  I can't stress it enough... defense, defense, defense.  If I've seen it once I've seen it a thousand times.  You get a good/great offensive team and put them against a good/great defensive team, and the latter always makes a game of it.

Eight of the Colts' 14 wins this year (regular season only)  were decided by 8 points or less.  And this could be the toughest D they've faced all year.

Good luck.  Don't go overboard.  Bet with your brain.  It's NEVER a sure thing.

IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, I THINK THAT EITHER IS A COLTS WIN AND COVERS THE 7.5 SPREAD OR THE JETS UPSET THE COLTS AND THEREFORE COVERS THE NUMBER ...

ANYONE WHO THINK THAT THE SAN DIEGO GAME IS A PARAMETER OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN SUNDAY BETWEEN COLTS AND JETS ARE WRONG ... LETS BE HONEST HERE, SAN DIEGO PLAYED A DUMB GAME: A LOT OF STUPID PENALTIES (VINCENT JACKSON KICKING THE CHALLENGE FLAG COMES TO MIND), TURNER'S DECISION TO GO FOR A ONSIDE KICK WITH 2 MINUTES ON THE CLOCK, OH YES AND THANK MR NATE "ALL PRO" KAEDING FOR MISSING 3 FG'S, TWO OF THEM INSIDE 40 YARDS... I MEAN SAN DIEGO PLAYED THE PERFECT GAME ... ON HOW TO LOSE A GAME, PERIOD ... DON'T GET ME WRONG JETS DID ALL THE RIGHT THINGS TO WIN THE GAME, AND THEY DID, BUT LETS GET REAL AND YOU ALL KNOW THAT JETS GOT ALL THE BREAKS TO PULL THE UPSET, THIS JETS-CHARGERS GAME REMINDED ME OF THE TITANS VS RAVENS GAME OF LAST YEAR WHEN TITANS DID ALL THE THINGS THEY COULD DO TO LOSE THE GAME, WELL THE CHARGERS DID IT TOO ... I JUST THINK THAT THE SAME SCENARIO HAS TO HAPPEN FOR JETS TO UPSET COLTS: A LOT OF PENALTIES FOR COLTS SIDE, TURNOVERS, STUPID COACH'S DECISIONS, ETC ... MY BET IS THAT COLTS WILL PLAY SMART AND THEREFORE WILL WIN, IN THE END YOU ARE WHAT YOUR RECORD SHOW, AND CLEARLY INDY IS THE BETTER TEAM BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE MOST BALANCED TEAM OF THE TWO TEAMS ... JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION ... GL TO EVERYBODY WHICHEVER TEAM THEY CHOOSE ...

As a Jet fan myself I think everybody's overthinking this spread. In 18 games, the Jets haven't covered +7.5 once all year.
