Why is everybody jumping on the jets bandwagon???

the bolts are going to humiliate the fraud ass jets. if it wasnt for the colts taking peyton out the jets would be sitting at home right now. i know the jets defense is good but people are acting like its the second coming of the steel curtain or the ravens defense of 2000.

It's a bad match up for SD.

The Chargers' strength on offense is passing. That is the strength of the JETS' D. The JETS' strength on offense is rushing. That is the CHARGERS' weakness.

rivers have too many weapons on offense im just not seeing the jets keeping this one close. its a reason why the jets went 9-7 and got a freebie with the colts. the chargers will stack the line and  make sanchez beat them the chargers are the hottest team in the nfl, and i cant see a 1 dimensional team beating them.

Why is everyone thinking the Bolts can blow out the Jets.  SD can't stop the run, look through all their games this year and see how much they got run on, Sanchez will not have to throw very much and Jets will control the ball with the run game. Not saying they will win, but there sure as hell won't get blown out, take the points, this game is decided by a field goal.

once the bolts are up by 10+ mr sanchez will have to start throwing and that means trouble he has a 64 passer rating for a reason.....also its a reason why the chargers havent lost in months and if any team ends their streak it might be the colts not the jets

Jets will stick to the run game because they will get big chunks of yards.
Jones/Greene will break a long one for 6 too.
SD is crap against the run

Can SD win? sure but it won't be a blow out

since '02, wild card weekend winners by 10 or more have gone 10-6 ATS/SU.  Either dogs won by small margin or favs won in blow out fashion.  In another word, spreads didn't matter in those 16 games.

Why isnt the spread lower than a TD? Are the Chargers the public team? I saw that its up to 9

I believe alot of people are overreacting to their win last week and the Chargers are No Bengals

I see Revis containing his assignment but he cant cover all of the chargers tall recievers (6'5 average ht.) also the chargers may not run on jets but they'll create alot of screen passes especially to "the little engine that could" - Darren Sproles 

This is not the chargers of years past, Rivers is playing like an MVP candidate so It might be a difficult task for the Jets to come to San Diego and beat them just like that!

I just think +9 is a lot to give a team that has the number 1 D and number 1 Run game.

that equals a close game IMO

Think Jets r a fraud also. Dont let 1 game sway ur pick. Sanchez hasn't proved to me that he can win in big games yet. Shit, he couldn't even beat Miami once and ur asking him to win or cover in a big game against SD on road? Stick with what u know. SD + pts. Jets =no pts. Cant go through playoffs running ball. Will have to throw at some point and u will see the REAL Sanchez.

Then why is line going down?   big money on Jets?  Bookmakers fooling SD backers?

To all the Jets backers:

1.  Sanchez on fire- 139 passer rating last game

2.  jets got best d and run game

3.  revis is a pro's pro- can play anywhere on the backfield- shut out short and tall receivers including 6'4" Moss- whats another inch in SD

4.  rex ryan coach of the year- first year coach into 2nd round of playoffs- he already has planned for the SB- over 60 years of experience from old daddy Buddy

5.  defense and good run game win championships

6.  bart scott

Need I say more.  Jets backer- jump on the line before everyone else does and the line goes down more- take the money line

              According to Sportsbook.com, 59% of their wagers are on the jets at the time of this posting.  Yesterday, it was 64%.   EVERYBODY is on the Chargers???    Not to mention, from the posts I've read here on Covers, I'd say the rate is about 4-1 on numbers of posters on NYJ.

why does everyone keep saying "why is everyone on the Jets?"... followed by them picking the Chargers...

it is a testament to how utterly useless these forums are that so many people are on the Chargers... if you know how to handicap a football game, there is no way in hell you should EVER be on the Chargers in this matchup!
