I only have $10 on it (REALLY wish that I threw more on it)
I know that I can start trying to make some money off of this Wager this week, but what do you guys think would be the best way to go about it?
I can get the Chargers -320.
Last year I used Props(Very successfully) as a way to Hedge my way out of the $50 I had on the Cards at 40-1, but this one is larger and only for $10
And say for instance(And I do mean INSTANCE) the Jets and Ravens would both somehow win next week. The Ravens would Play the Jets with the Jets would be at home.
I have some ideas here, but I would really like to hear some other advice.

damn, i didnt know the jets odds were that high to win it all. I think I would still place a small wager on the SD ML. I think they will win a tight game. I think the Colts are going to take down the Ravens. If the jets win at SD, I cant see them going into IND and winning their too. Anyway Good Luck.

I concur - no real value here in this round - but Im no statistician. If you wanted to get technical about it, you could lay $66 on the ml to win $20 and if the Jets lose, you techincally 'hedged'. To really hedge and have it be worthwhile, you would have to wait till AT LEAST the Conf. Championships.
This prop is for NYJ to WIN the SB or get there?

12/23 12:24 PM Future/Prop $10.00 $2,500.00 Football Futures - Super Bowl XLIV New York Jets +25000 for To Win Super Bowl XLIV
I started a thread about it here right after Christmas. The value just seemed too good knowing that the Colts were probably going to rest their starters and then Cincy was probably going to lay down.

Since you said you only put 10 dollars on it, I would honestly try to ride it out for this game. SD doesn't have the D the Jets have, but then again the Jets are infamous for loosing important games, props to you for being this far in the bet with em.
But think about it, there is no way they would be more dogs than they are this week against SD facing their potent but streaky offense. IMO ride em until the next game and see it you can come up with a more profitable hedge. Maybe look into props for other teams to win the conference to hedge without placing any kind of large wager. Ravens are +685 for the AFC, and Indy pays a little over even.

Yeah, I am looking into some props now. I am just going to wait until the weekend and see what happens. You Never know, Rivers might trip over his dog or some shit and be out for the game.

If you are truly looking to hedge out, I'd go the Matchbook route. You could sell your bet at somewhere around -2500 to -2900 based on what's up there now and guarantee about 80-90 profit. What you don't want to start doing is betting the other team on the moneyline each game. I am pretty sure that will end up giving you worse of a return than just selling your bet outright.
Personally, I'd probably let it ride though

you could bet 160 to win 50... if you lose that 160, you are now in for $170 on a bet that will pay off $2400... so you still have $2230 in potential profit to work with in case you want to hedge the last two...
just a thought... personally, i would ride it out this week... Chargers are in for a serious battle...

Let it ride...I had +300 on the Giants a few years ago before they won 4 straight. I conisidered hedging but decided it wasn't worth it, especially for $10.
