Unless you know a game is fixed, there is no such thing as a lock. SD is a superior team with a superior QB. Hate to say it, but The Jets have a very very good chance at covering this line....Why? Their Defense will slow down SD strong point, which is the pass....Rivers is a legit QB and a guy that can explode, but I think a week off will slow his timing....The Jets have a very Legit Defense and most of all a very Legit secondary.....

the love for the Jets is no more unjustified than the love for the Chargers... they have squeaked by some very shaky competition all year to build an inflated record... but they do not have a great defense or a great running game, and those are usually essential to playoff success...
about 6 weeks ago i was touting the Chargers as the team the Colts have to worry about... now that the entire world thinks the Chargers are the team to beat in the NFL, i'm rethinking that position... i can't even remember the last time the team everyone thought was going to win it actually won it...
i don't buy the Chargers and their 22nd ranked defense and 20th ranked defense (all against the 27th ranked schedule)... they are a farse... watch and you will see that this week... they will be lucky to break 17 points...

Add in the fact you have Philip Rivers, a notorious choker, and Norv Turner, an even larger choke artist, to bet against. I've been waffling on this game and the more I look it over, the more I'm inclined to take the sharp side with +7.5 & the dog-ass Jets. It'll probably be a low scoring game with NY very capable of getting into Rivers face with their multiple and add in SD's OL has fought injuries all season. NY Jets 24-17.
