Raiders... Did Cable really say that about JR???

I was watching Mike &amp; Mike this morning and they said that Cable will most likel be fired for his comment to the press. What did he say?&#xD;&#xA;According to the show, Cable told the press.......&#xD;&#xA;...."We could be a playoff team if not for Jamrcus Russell."&#xD;&#xA;WOW, that guy is awesome. Throwing punches and throwing his QB under a pack of buses. Ya gotta love his honesty IF he really did say it. IT MIGHT BE TRUE.

[/Quote]Hard to disagree with Cable&#x27;s statement because if they did have Garcia as the starter at the beginning of the year, I can see them being much more competitive and fight for the last playoff spot, just like those other teams down the stretch.  At least thanks to JR, my prediction at the beginning of the year that the Raiders would not win more than 5.5 games as set by the books.They&#x27;ll be a much better team next year once they decide to part way with JR.Silver and Black in 2010...

The truth.  You know it&#x27;s bad, when your 3rd string QB goes out, your "star" QB comes in, everyone on the team hangs their head and slumps and thinks "now we&#x27;re in trouble".Tom Cable deserves to keep his job,  He knows it and the players know it.  If Al Davis fires him, you can bet that his replacement won&#x27;t be as good.  Any coach smart enough to be better than Cable is smart enough not to take the job.

as a RaiderFan, Cable&#x27;s comments are on the bulls eye, Jamarcus Russell sucked big time: INT, Fumbles, sacks,  no emotion, no leadership, no accuracy, ... but JR was not the only cause, altough he was the main one. the Run D is atrociuos , please Al Davis draft a Defensive Tackle next year please ... we passed BJ Raji this year, dont make the same mistake ...
