Pittsburgh/Cleveland Under 34 (8)
Slight lean to the Browns....may add, especially if I can get 10.5.
Thanks and GL fellas. ![]()
My thoughts on this play has all to do with the wind. Many are mentioning the snow and or rain, but that is irrelevant. What is relevant are strong winds between 30-35 mph and wind gusts over 40 mph. There is a reason this total is so low. As I explained earlier, this game sets up to be like the NE/Buff game during week 17 last year, when wind gusts reached over 50 mph. In this game the total was set at 35 and the final score was 13-0. Both teams played ultra conservative, not wanting to risk ints., accounting for a combined 33 passes and 82 rushes between the two! I look for the same Thursday night. Unless we get multiple special teams and defensive TD, I don't see the under even being threatened....maybe 20-24 pts total.

The last time a Steelers/Browns game had winds of over 18 mph was last year on SNF Pitt 10-6 Cleveland. Anyone who tells me you can throw a ball downfield consistently in those conditions is nuts, i know you cant be over confident but this wont even be close. I would not be suprised if Pitt won 12-0, with 2 or more missed field goals in the game.

Rip- Good analogy with LY match-up and these conditions will be worse. GL ![]()
Manage- 39.5 is insane...personally I wouldn't even risk the Cleve. play if I had a total of 39.5...in fact, Id probably just add more to the under or leave the under as is. GL

be careful here....the line has come down 4 or 5 points off the open to 33. The adjustment for wather has been made. Its an under or no play for me, but I certainly liked the under pre-line drop far better when at 38/39. i could see this game middle at 34/35. People in early on under hit all the aholes that come in late lose...

I'm just saying, if you can get 39.5, there is so much value in playing the under why would you risk any part of that with another play.
