It's hard to cap this game. I'm going to pick the hometeam Bills.
As we all know, the Bills franchise has been going through some problems with management, and finances. Over the next 6 years they are playing games in Toronto to gain publicity, and hopefully move there permanently.
As a Toronto resident myself, this is HUGE news. The CFL is doo-doo, American college ball gets higher ratings then the Grey Cup! Our post-secondary level of football... well lucky to get the highlights on local news networks.
I happened to go to a Bills game in Buffalo, (Got pelted for wearing my apparantly 'person-blue' Chargers jersey). It was less then a $100 for the row 7 tickets I had. Last year was Buffalo's first regular season game in Toronto. For 500 level tickets (Top level of the dome) prices began at $150. and increased to $500 for Platinum tickets (Platinum is front 25 rows or so around the 50-yard line.) The few field level seats sold for $1000 (even more on E-Bay). In the removeable top dome (A.K.A Sky-Dome or Rogers centre) of 68 000 capacity, the game sold out. This single game had more revenue then several games in Buffalo. The entire country had interest in Canada's first NFL team. (And no, I don't like the high prices. More people doodling on Blackberries, then your crazy drunken Buffalo homies partying it up...)
The Bills new market, also know as the Golden Horseshoe, contains 10 million people, 28% of Canada's population, all within 3 hours of driving distance. This doesn't even include all the loyal Buffalo fans, which only live about 2 hours away.
Toronto's main franchise's are the Raptors and Maple Leafs. The Leafs beeing the richest team in the NHL by far. Unfortunately, due to both teams beeing owned by our crappy teachers union, most of that money is profit, rather then investments for getting good players....
The Bills on the other hand, would be just as prosperous, AND NOT TEACHER UNIONIZED!!! Considering the NFL gets higher ratings then ANY Canadian sporting event (Besides maybe the upcoming olympics!!!)
With a big emotional game up ahead, and all fired up with the new coach, I think the Bills have a lot to play for.
Quirky fact, many do not know:
T.O. Stands for Toronto, Ontario, Ontario beeing the province Toronto is in. Hence T.O in T.O
Please post your thoughts/insight/facts on this game if you have 'em...

You make many substantial points...except the crap about US college getting higher ratings than the Grey Cup. Annually that is always a highly watched game and about the only thing the CFL does right. Anyways, agree with your Buffalo pick. This Jets team right now should not be laying chalk on the "road" to anybody...even in T.O. How did your Vegas trip go?

Maybe condemning the Grey Cup was exaggerated. Compared to our own level of post-secondary football however, no comparison.
Last year the game in T.O. was dissappointing, I'm really turned off by the crap of the monitered tailgating. WHO WANTS TO TAILGATE, WITH A WALL OF POLICE SURROUNDING THE AREA?!?!?!? This years game is more anticipated then last year it feels, I'm really hoping Argo's fans adapt to the more intense NFL culture.
Still thinking this game has MUCH personal interest for the bills, their D should give pretty-boy some headaches.
Vegas trip was awsome as far as entertainment. Saw Kiss play at Palms, but their so old now, that they sweated to the point their facepaint was dripping off!!!
Unfortunately, this was the weekend of the moose in College ball.... the way the lines were was wow.
Either way, what money I donated to the Vegas casino charity fund, I took back in free drinks!!!

T.O covered well in T.O by Darrelle Revis. Lee Evans will have to start contributing.
Revis has shut down #1 WR's well this year and Jets rushed for over 300 yards in first game but lost thanjks to 5 INT's . Jets more conservative play calling so i don't expect another 5 T.O game in T.O which features T.O.
I hope it doesn't go to o.T because that would be the opposite of this thread's theme

Last year it seemed like there were more Dolphins fans than Bills fans, which didn't help them at all.
Also with that in mind, think about the loyalty of Jets fans, and think about how many come up from NY when the Yankees are in town. With both these teams being so weak, I would expect pretty equal fans for this one.
All that shit about the Raps/Leafs - Teachers Union I 100% agree with but I don't think it has any affect on this game, especially the Bills players.
Also the Bills struggle historically after playing the Dolphins.
If anything I think the Under might be worth a look.
BOL whatever you decide
I hope we get an NFL team but I would rather it wasn't the Bills

By the teachers union thing, I meant that Buffalo would prosper large money in Toronto, only they arn't unionized!!! So the money would go towards a 'good cause'
