Last week started off pretty miserable with the Gmen, raiders, and dolphins not covering....but once the Vikes Steelers and Saints won/covered things turned around and i ended up a until Last week 3-3 YTD 10-9
Week 13
Now that the dust has settled over the Monday night game we can conclude that Drew Brees& co. essentially made the Pats look much more like a wild card caliber team as opposed to the champions that theyve been recognized as so frequently throughout the last eight years.
Vikes Cards line? I haven't seen one yet on sportsbook but Ive heard rumors of it being in favor of Minny around 3 to 3.5. Granted I'm from Minnesota and have been a lifelong Vikings fan....with all bias aside id lock this play early before the line changes. Unlike many teams in the NFL the cards record is very much representative of their talent and calibur. They've managed to beat teams with losing records in general by a score or two....and theyve faltered to the Colts and the now red hot Titans. With that being said this team has been struggling at home and has suffered losses to easily winnable teams such as the Panthers and 49ers. I can't see this team winning hear...and frankly won't be able to keep up with arguably the best offense in the league. Additionally with the likelyhood that Warner might be out again this could be a big play
Texans (0)
Yeah this team has been on a slide lately, but if you look at the teams that they've lost too...the story is at least a little different. The Texans played Colts twice in three weeks....at least one of the match ups which they should have had. Additionally they played a game against the revived Titans and barely let that one slip away. The Jags wins that they've had lately aside from last week have all been within 3 points and have been against sub .500 teams. Even though they beat Houston earlier this season I don't see them sweeping them this time around. The Texans are due for a big win and I don't see the Jags shaky defense keeping up this time around. Prediction: Texans 27-Jags 14
Broncos (-4.5)
Probably my biggest regret from last week was giving the Giants way to much credit and betting on them over the Broncos. Denver looked like a whole new team last weekend....especially on defense. With the exception of a bizarre circumstance with the Steelers....the Cheifs have only had wins against other equally terrible teams (Raiders and Skins). The Broncos are a hard team to figure out and I'll openly admit that theyre 6-0 record a few weeks ago was not very representative of the teams actual talent. Even with theyre loss to the Redskins which was a little frightening, I love this team in this spot. The Broncos are playing for a hell of a lot more then the Cheifs, as this game along with every game on out will have a huge impact on their playoff hopes. Prediction: Broncos 35- Cheifs 13
Probably will lock....
Pats -5 Yeah they looked aweful last night and had one of their least impressive this games this season while being manhandled by one of the top 3 teams in the league...if not the best. But despite all of this, the Patriots should win in Miami with not to much difficulty. Everyone keeps talking about how the Pats will lose homefield advantage WHEN they get into the playoffs....but a loss here could make things easily turn into an IF upon a loss here, as this would make the AFC east a much more competitive division. The Dolphins collapsed in the second half against Buffalo and displayed some of the teams biggest weaknesses. NE should win this by a couple scores. Prediction NE 24- Fins 14
Titans +7 At this point the Colts are undefeated but I'm starting to think that this team could crack any week. Yeah you can argue that they always find ways to either comeback (as in last week) or hold on (barely against the Ravens), but this is as perfect a time as any for this team to get upset. The Colts have won their last 5 games within 1 SCORE.....and additionally many of them coming against teams playing worse then Tennessee is now. Vince Young has showed leadership and pulled the Texans together in ways that are incredibly remarkable. This team is once again a legitimate threat....and are playing at a level that is now above their 5-6 record. I love them in this spot here...and could easily see them winning this....if not very much likely covering. Prediction (Titans 27-Colts 28)
Might play Cowboys at -2.5

No, they shouldn't have. They didn't win either one of their games against the Colts because they're a band of choke artists.

Yes, because they're choke artists, like I said.

So you're saying the knock on the Jaguars is that lately they've only been able to beat sub .500 teams? Well, lucky for them the Texans are 5-6. Phew!

Why? Why are the Texans due? Any team that gift wraps games like these losers are probably only due to gift wrap another one.

I think that is just the kind of public sentiment that is going to inspire the Colts to come out and destroy the Titans today.

And this one even had a pretty bow on top of it, as the self-destructing Texans managed to have three different passers throw interceptions on Sunday in Jacksonville. To be honest, I wasn't even aware that Rex Grossman was the backup QB for the Texans. He played a key role in helping Houston lose its fourth straight game on Sunday, and I feel as if I may have won that wager unfairly. I'm thinking of telling Pinnacle that they can keep that money.
