After watching the way the redskins moved the ball in the second half and combined with Phillys stagnant offense the entire game (with the exception of 2 big plays), I was already looking forward to laying points with the giants as slight road favorite
I now see the giants open as an underdog +2.5.... wow
I can only see this line going down as the week progresses.... wiseguys are going to be pounding this down.... buy the half point and get the giants +3 ....
Sunday best bet: Giants +3 @ -125 (buying half point), 1 unit
If i guessed wrong on line movement and it goes up instead of down, I am laying another unit on giants +3

Forget what you saw last night, Eagles had game well in hand in the second half, Gmen will win because Westbrook isn't playing and the Eagles just aren't that good. If you don't score a TD vs. the Raiders, you shouldn't be on the same field with Giants.

Good, I am glad we can agree that the Gmen are the play this week.....
....but any thoughts on the potential line movement? When is the best time to get this line in your opinion? I say get on this now because all the "sharps" will be pounding the Gmen like bitches in a mexican prison... I can only see the line going down, it might even be a Pick'em by game time....
.... and that is the point of my post....

Best play for this game without a doubt is the ML, if line is under 3, you're hardly taking a chance, if it's 3 you could play the line a little, but realisticially you're only hedging to get your $ in case Iggles win by FG, how likely do you think tat is?

have you seen the giants play the last two weeks, i wont be on this game and hope you win but the giants were exposed down in new orleans two weeks ago and then zona came in on a mon night and gave them more then they could handle... with that said the iggs played a below average game last night in a win and got beat down at oakland so who knows, but the iggs do play the giants well everytime they get together and andy reid always seems to coach his best game against them like the playoff game last year... GL

Seeing the line move already makes me think by the time moneylines come out on friday, the game is going to be a pick'em and you will be paying -110 for giants pk, so at this point, I am happy paying a little extra juice and getting the field goal insurance.
If the giants are plus money on the moneyline when it does come out, I just convinced myself to lay another unit on them....lol....
.....just might be the sharpest line read i have ever made..... I will now pat myself on the back...lol... but after i got killed the last weekend taking underdogs, it will be just my luck the eagles blowout the Giants....

Those are good points.
My counter argument to that is both the saints and the cardinals have great recievers (big, strong, good hands to catch the ball in tight spots) and solid offensive lines which gave just enough time for their good decision making QBs to get their passes off.
Eagles do not have the same advantage at the reciever and tigh-end positions. The eagles lost the oakland game because of too many dropped passes. No westbrook is going to nullify the eagles screen pass game and render their rushing attack useless.
With the way the redskins offense was able to move the ball, Eli and their running game should be able to do more the same. The giants recievers are much improved since their home embrassament in the playoffs last year.
Giants are a well coached team, have an extra day of rest, and are badly in need of a win after a tought sunday night loss. I will take my chances with the G-men.
All comments welcome! Please let me know in an analytical way if you disagree with anything i say. we are here to make money together.

I wouldn't neccesarily say that Arizona gave them more than they could handle. Despite turning the ball over 4 times, New York still had a chance to get back in the game twice down the stretch. Turnovers were why New York lost the game in my opinion and that isn't something they will do every week.
As far as this week goes, both of the losses New York suffered to Philadelphia were essentially one possession games despite the fact that New York had 0 sacks in 3 games. Considering the shape of the Philadelphia offensive line and the possibilities of the rookie McCoy in pass protection at times, it could get ugly.
Do you remember the last time Umenyiora was matched up against Justice? If you don't, go look it up.
No Dawkins is also going to be a sigh of relief for the Giants.
Plus, people forget if Hixon doesn't drop that wide open touchdown pass in the playoffs, that game looks a lot different.
