I totally agree with you cd329, and have often written how the League has an agenda to which their employees carry out, and that it's always about the money and not the outcomes of meaningless games. Of course the League = the team owners which = the owners of the media, sportsbooks and casinos, etc. which = the you can't touch me power happy trips they're on. To me, the games are just like the scripted WWF. One can only presume that the officials who sell themsleves out to do this job, feel they have a great job with great pay, and that they're not hurting anyone. So they make a phantom call (or non-call) and one team wins or covers versus another, so what? It's just a meaningless game, and if people risk their money to gamble on these events, that's their problem for gambling in the first place. So to them it's a victimless crime, because folks who gamble should be doing other more positive things with their money. And, anyone who gambles, runs the risk of losing, and must be prepared to accept the loss no matter how it comes. Well, whether you're prepared for your loss

fraud, they take even more liberties the next time. It just may be getting worse and worse, as more money is at stake, and
it's getting more and more blatantly bogus. Thus, the reason I'd like to try to put an end to the madness, and protect the
integrity of the game.
