11-1 Yesterday &#x2B;27 Units, 9-1 Posted  NFL-41-20 67% on Season, &#x2B;47 Units on SeasonMinny-10 (2 Units) Steelers over 44- (3 Units)Minny-6.5 1st hal f(2 Units)Philly-8.5 1st half- (2 Units)Philly -4.5 2nd half ( 2 Units)San Fran-1 (4 Units) Denver &#x2B;4 ( 3 Units)Denver under 41-(5 Units) Seattle -1 (2 Units) Colts -3 1st half (4 Units)  Colts -4 for game (5 Units) Colts - PK 2nd Half (2 Units) Tonight we have the 3-1 Jets at 1-3 Miami...On my Sunday night play I took the angle we seen throughout the day where a good NFL team play a poor NFL team, the good NFL team covered without any problem....I think this is a different situation tonight... The Jets and Miami records are very deceiving... Here are the Jets winsHouston- 2-3 Beat Tennessee and OaklandNew England- 3-2 Beat Bills, ATL, BaltimoreTennessee- 0-5 Do not let this New England game confuse you into thinking that the Jets are some sort of unstopable super power with a rookie QB....Anyone that has watched any New England football knows Brady is not the same this year and their D, while still good is not as dominate as it has been in the past.. Now they have lost @ New Orleans who is 5-0 and a great team, also their 1st road game where Sanchez was 14/27 0 TD&#x27;s and 3 INT&#x27;s... Not to good against a improved Defense from New Orleans but no where near great...Now lets look at Miami at 1-3.. They are in my eyes the best 1-3 team in recent memory.... They have talent on both side of the ball and have a top 5 defense in the NFL, just ask Manning when he went down there where Miami absolutely dominated that game but somehow came up short...Here are Miami&#x27;s loses:@ATL- 3-1 lost to New England Indy- 5-0 Best team in NFL right now@Chargers- 2-2 only loses for them to Pitt and Baltimore, SD with a new offensive lineBills- 1-5 Beat Tampa BayNow with the exception of that ATL game where they had numerious turnover they was in every game and gave Indy a pretty big scare a few Monday Nights ago....Miami could easily be 2-3 with that bruital schedule....I see 2 different game plans here.. The Jets are going to have to ask Sanchez to win this game for them as they are not going to run on Miami&#x27;s D.... Miami will have the luxury of using one of the best rushing attacks in the Country and asking Henne to be a game manager....I have not made a decision yet but I think you see where I am going with this...BOL to Everyone

Forgot these 3 other things, Braylon Edwards is at the Jets now and is expected to be on the sidelines, whether he plays or not I do not know yet... If he does it will hurt the Jets as he has had the most dropped passes in the NFL the last 3 years I beleive.... Also Jerricho Cotchery, the most consistant receiver the Jets have will be out for this game..

For Miami they gain a player in LB Joey Porter, who missed the last game, who poses a real threat in stopping the run...

and miami is starting chad henne against a blitz happy, defesive mastrer mind..

a guy who devised a plan that shut the saints completely down..

drew brees had no answers for the jets defense..

this is now there 2nd road game, teams usually play better their 2nd road game, especially a rookie qb, he has a better ideal of what to expect.. although this is his first primetime game, i really expect the jets to comeout, and establish the run, and play lockdown defense..

i cant see the doolphins scoring 10 points..

who is chad henne going to throw the ball to?

jets have a great secondary with probably the best corner in the game currently, kerry rhodes is a ball hawk..
they have great lbs and kris jenkins which will nullify the wildcat.

the jets are teh better team and have a better qb..

i think the jets get it done, 20-10

I know they trend about 2nd road game and have thought about it but I don&#x27;t think Sanchez is going to just get that much better after one road game, It is not like he was scared, he came from USC, and played in plenty of huge games in front or a National audience...I expect both Defeneses to play lock down defense really but this is no New Orlean Saints defense... This is one of the best in the league, probably the best he has gone up against this year... Now I know that Henne is pretty much a rookie, but he will be at home and will not be throwing all that often... The Jets are not that great of a run defense... They allowed Bush and the Saints to rush for 153 yards last week and Brews threw for another 190....I know you didn&#x27;t mention this but I have saw some people in other threads mention this, Rex Ryan.. Now people think it is because of his scheme that defeated them. It is not his scheme.. It is the talent he had on that Ravens defense that got the job done... Here is a quote from Ronnie Brown about that Ravens defense... Take it for what it is worth...From Brown; "&#x201C;It is a challenge, but I don&#x2019;t think it was anything special,&#x201D; Brown says. &#x201C;I don&#x2019;t think it was really the scheme. They just did a great job of beating us on blocks. It wasn&#x2019;t so much they had our number. They just outplayed us when it comes down to the Xs and Os. Cotchery is questionable, its going to be a gametime decision. Also don't forget that Calvin pace is back for the Jets as well, which is a huge addition to that defense. I'm a diehard jets fan, but I normally have a very good read on them, both good and bad. Here is how I see this game playing out, if you care.

I see the jets coming out of the gates and playing this game close to the vest. Schottenheimer is going to try and get Sanchez's confidence up after his mistakes last week. I think that alot of people feel like the jets will be conservative with Sanchez, because of last weeks debocle. I think differently, I would not be shocked at all to see a playaction deep pass to open up the game for the jets. I also expect to see a healthy dose of Leon Washington this game, trying to get a spark. The Jets defense is going to go for the jugular early and often. I expect to see very agressive playcalling ffrom the Jets on both sides of the ball. If the jets can jump out to a lead early, they will be able to tee off on Henne. Ryans ravens shut down Miami's run game last year in the playoffs, and I think they will be sucessfull again. I would not be surprised to see the dolphins throwing ALOT of screen passes to open this game up. I have a feeling the Jets gameplan is to be to rattle Henne, and try to force turnovers and score on a short field. I don't think the Jets completely shut down the run, but Miami will probably rush for 90-100 yards. Like I said I see Schottenheimer playcalling to attack the Dolphins secondary. This team has alot of faith in Sanchez. If the jets can score quick, and force the dolphins to punt, they will be able to take the crowd out of the game and force Henne to beat them. However, if Sanchez doesn't come through early, that will pump up the crowd and give the Dolphins some momentum. However, I think the Jets get it done early, and set the tempo for the game. Rex ryan isn't the type of guy who will dance around the ring feeling out his opponent, hes going to be agressive, and challenge the Dolphins to outplay them. If the jets get up early, how long will Miami be willing to run the ball before they are forced to have Henne go down the field. I see the Dolphins moving the ball fairly well, but i think they will have to settle for alot of fieldgoals, and will have trouble getting the ball in the Endzone.

Take from this whatever you want, I am a homer like I said before. But in past years I have made alot of money betting against them.

Good info Rob, appreciate it...Like you said you are a homer, and look at your team, as I do mine as doing well in these types of situations.... The way I look at it is, the Jets are going to have to ask Sanchez to win the game for them, because their run game is not going to win it... They will establish a run game but the Fins will not have to stack the box like the Jets are going to have to...Now the Fins game plan is going to let Henne be a game manager, and let the run do the work... I know the Jets defense is good, but no where near the 08 Ravens...It is just not there and that is why the Ravens shut down Miami last year... It is not because of Ryans shcemes or anything like that IMO.... To say that Miami will only rush for 90-100 yards I think is crazy, they allowed the Saints to run for 155, the Titans to get 127, but held New England to 83..... I just think Miamis game plan is going open up more stuff for Henne than the Jets gameplan will for Sanchez..BOL to you Rob...
