Colts vs Seahawks, I was waiting on this line & it finally came out Wed. There is a major injury on both teams. Seahawks will be without Hasselbeck for Sundays game from what coach Mora said after Wed's practice due to his rib injury. The Colts will be without Freeney, which has 4 sacks on the year & will be missed greatly but with Seneca Wallace at the helm for Seattle, I doubt there passing game will be a threat at all. If Seattle had anything going for them on offense, its fading away slowly. They had a 13-0 lead & missed 2 fg's & then saw that lead dissapear when the pressure was put on by the Bears defense. Now in no way is the Colts defense anywhere near as good as the Bears, but then again, the Bears offense is nowhere near as good as the Colts offense. The Bears beat Seattle with there defense. The Colts will score & put some pressure on Wallace & the crowd will be very loud for Seattle's Qb & he will make mistakes & lots of them. Seattle's Tatupu & Houshmandzadeh are both probable for the game. The Colts have a better passing offense as we all know & actually the Colts have a slightly better pass defense than Seattle. Seattle has a better rushing game & they also have a better rush defense. As we all saw when the Colts played Miami on Monday night, the Colts were having problems running the ball & they started to throw the ball more last week vs Arizona & we saw the outcome of that. You will see alot of dink passes & 15 to 20 yard routes. Manning will have his way with Seattle's defense. Last week Jim Mora was pissed & blamed Olindo Mare for losing the game, maybe it was his fault but Seneca Wallace didnt help the situation with throwing a pick inside his own 20 yard line. The coach did apoligize but outbursts like that arent good for team morale when you blame just 1 person, you should blame the whole team. I feel Seattle had high hopes & saw them dwindling away after Hasselbeck got hurt in the 49ers game. Seattle had a descent lead vs the Bears & saw that disappear, that had to be a crushing blow, I just dont see how Seattle flies cross country after being demoralized by the Bears & competes with Manning & company. Imo, Seattle is in way over there heads in this game & the Colts turn up the heat! I would wager on the Colts the whole way up to Colts -13.5
Colts -10.5 (-110) $4400 to win $4000

Interesting analysis...However this game is a no play for me. I hate double digit faves. Seattle has played well in the first half of games. Hopefully Indy comes through in the second half like everyone else. Good luck!

Serb: Your a Colts fan & will be happy because the Colts will be 5-0 going into the bye week after waxing Seattle & beating the Titans next week.
UpTheAnte: Double digit favorites I believe are 4-3 ats so far this season. That trend wont fair well like it did last season. If the Colts get up early, its going to be a long day for Seneca Wallace, he doesnt play well from behind & will throw several interceptions if pressured.
Lets get the money!

I don't have the stats on the 'Hawks, but they are horrible traveling within the EST - I got this game at 9.5, and love that number. I would have no problem taking this up to 13.5 -
The house will be rockin, the 2nd home game for the Colts...and without a blemish, the fans will be ready for this game. In addition, looks like it will be cold in Indy, so a closed roof to add to the atmosphere!
BOL prime - like the pick!!!

I find this line very suspicious. Books know everyone wants to go with Indy here. I'm not playing it myself, but if I did, I would bet 1st half. I expect the colts to dominate, but I could easily see a backdoor cover for seattle. Indy can be up 27-10 give up a garbage time TD, and its over for you. Go 1st half. BOL

I could not disagree more...
Two things are working against you here...
First I see Indy letting up here after two PrimeTime games, And so I dont see them getting another blow out victory.
they are horrible ats in this situation. It might be different if they were coming off a loss but I would not lay big money on Indy in this spot
Secondly, the colts without any running game will have trouble covering this big number.
I think recent history supports me:
Colts are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite of 10.5 or greater.
Colts are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 home games.
Colts are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win.
Colts are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on fieldturf.
Colts are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite.
Colts are 2-10-1 ATS in their last 13 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
Colts are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite of 10.5 or greater.
Colts are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a SU win of more than 14 points.
Colts are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
