Dolphins Cover and Here Is Why....

This game will be like a playoff game to Miami and their hometown crowd.  They had a horrible game against Atlanta and don't expect a Bill Parcells organization to let that happen again.  Remember how everyone was sure Jay Cutler was going to get killed against Pitt after his bad week?  Watch the Dolphins turn it around in this game like the Bears did.

You have two offenses that can score (as long as Miami uses the wildcat more this game) and one defense better than the other (Miami).

Here are some other tidbits:

**  Miami is 32-18 at home on MNF

**  Colts are 7-10 SU in Miami

**  Peyton Manning is 4-7 lifetime against Dolphins with a career 76.1 QB rating

The Dolphins will be ready for this game and so will Indy.  But I like this home crowd and team to cover and probably win SU.

What stupid stats!

Peyton is 1-0 vs the dolphins in the last 5 years, bringing anything up before that is just plain stupid.

Lol this guy brings up stats from the 90's and early 00's, they have completely different teams. Fucking Dan Marino was playing for the Dolphins in 98 and 99. Throw these stupid stats out the window, wow how stupid. Peyton has played the dolphins twice since he won his first MVP and beat them both times. Wow i am still laughing at how stupid these stats are.

Yeah, I'm not sure how dolphin monday night stats from 1970 affect this game.
 
Still, I am a bit wary of the Colts in this spot.
 
Got a nice win with the Giants yesterday, I'm now 4-0 on sides in NFL (only loss was that damn N.E. teaser that everyone lost with last week), so I may stay out of this.
 
But I'm a damn degenerate, so you never know.

Dude I'm not biased. This guy is bring stats up from when the colts played in the dolphins division. How fucking stupid and ignorrant is that?

I agree on the stats, especially in todays league, teams change so much from year to year. maybe go back 2 or 3 years.

I would like to see stats on a rookie coach on monday night though

The Dolphins are 1-5 over the past three seasons against the spread as a home underdog of three points or less. Miami has failed to cover in 13 of its last 16 games home games.

Indianapolis is 5-2 ATS in games where the line is +3 to -3 over the past three seasons. They’ve been in 15 MNF games since 1992 and are 10-5 in those games.

You have to understand that Jim Caldwell is not your average rookie coach, he has been with Dungy since they were with the bucs.

It is a big deal, bringing up stats from 10 years ago. I bet the Dolphins dont have 1 player from a team in 99. For fuck sakes, Dan Marino was still playing. I think it would be a different story tonight if Dan fucking Marino was the Qb for the dolphins.

I was told by an old sage a very long time ago , when I first started betting take the home dog on Monday night. I am not sure what the stats are but would say it is high in favor of the home dog on Monday night.

And if you don't think a home town atmosphere helps teams (hence older stats), then don't believe it.
