AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE? CAN SOME ONE GIVE ME A SEMI WRITE UP ON WHY PHILY IS A FAV THIS GAME? IS IT BCUZ OF HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE?

starters will only play one or two drives, and nobody cares if they win.

Theres has been questions as to how much Brady will be playing in the game if at all. I believe that has been addressed and will atleast play one series. The rotation behind Brady isn't that strong. Also Kolb will not be playing which means Feeley will see most of action and IMO that is huge for Philly backers because he has been in their system for along time and thats a huge advantage. NE has had a bit a carolsel of QB's behind Brady, they probally won't be as prepaired for this game as much as they should be. Also check out NE pup list there are alot of names on that list the last time i looked anyway...

.Home teams are favored 98% of the time in pre-season.
 
Pre-season is 4 weeks of exibition games.
 
These games meant to try out new players and analyze talent.

For me QB's are the most important thing. Both teams will have 2nd,3rd,4th stringers in the game so deepth isn't really a concern for me Feeley is a veteran QB who will feast on 3rd and 2th stringers regardless who they are....

Dont quote me but I thought I heard that Kolb is injured and wont be playing in this one. Feeley will be taking most of the snaps... maybe it was from a dream but I thought this is what I heard

I can tell you this from just watching Comcast philly sports. The Birds are only going to have Peters as their Starting O-Line right now for this game. Westbrook won't play at all, Kolb is hurt and AJ Feeley will prett much play the most at QB.
 
I don't kow if Brady is really going to play as much as he wants to, but if I am getting 3, I like them.

just read on fox that mcnabb will be playing into 2nd quarter, then feeley will take over.  they signed a guy from temple that they drafted, then let go.  so, he will get a 2nd chance to be on the team, but he will most likely not play because he has missed camp.  So, there you have it - mcnabb 1st and part of 2nd qtr, feeley the rest of the game.

I like PHILLY feeley will fest on 3rd string def. and who is QB after brady?????  Kevin O'Connell he is 1-2 as a pro

New QB Adam DiMichele is scheduled to play in the fourth quarter against the Pats, even though he's only been to one, brief practice with the Eagles in training camp.

And NFL football is a game played in America and sometimes overseas.

Reid doesn't give a shit about pre-season, especially the first game as he typically uses the first game to gain film footage on his players.  Eagles are banged up all over the place and will be looking not to do anymore injury damage to themselves.  Kolb will not play leaving the Eagles with Feeley and nobody.  The Pats will give Brady some time to figure it out and then he will be replaced by two pre-season veterans in O'Connell and Walter.  O'Connell has massive kudos from the NE coaching staff and Walter used to start for the Raiders.  They should tear up any scrubs Reid puts in there for film purposes.

Bellichek wants to get off on a winning foot after the bitter ending to last season and he will want to win this one.

NE +3 is the play.

The last time New England entered a preseason after missing the playoffs was in 2003. In that year, the Pats went a perfect 4-0 (4-0 ATS) and went on to capture the Super Bowl title

That is all you need to now. NE will come to play. Players say so, statistics says so.

Belichecks ego was hurt last season, now he is back to make a statement from preseason and forward.

Brady out to prove the knee is good and will probably play several series...maybe a full quarter and score some points.

Philly to the bank.  Check the patriots numbers in the preseason the last couple of years.  Bellicheck does not care about these games.  Brady MIGHT get one set of downs.
