Yes.... +9 seems juicy... -9 feels right.
 
My line for this game (mid season) relatively equal records
 
-4.5 (even that seems high)
 
 
The spread is huge, but the way the salty Broncos have been playing (yes I had BUF today) SD will want to kill them and if Denver comes out flat like they have the last couple weeks...SD cruises to DD. If you doubt SD, they traveled cross country through timezones to play at one of the toughest venues in the NFL against a much better D than the Broncos have. Also, crowd noise helps D's at home but not on the road.
 
Bottom line, if DEN shows up, it might be close to the number but I still like SD, if they don't...over by halftime.
 
-9 is a lot, but it looks like the play

two ships moving in opposite directions and the Broncos are extremely banged up...I made it 7.5, so I think 9 is slightly high, but I won't be playing the dog.

probably about right. sd could win by 30 or lose outright depending which team shows up.

This also goes for Denver....these teams are so inconsistent it's pretty much a crap shoot.  SD can win by 20+ pts or lose straight up and I wouldn't be surprised either way.  It's early, but I think I will take the 9 pts being a rivalry and "play in" game.

denver is going to get lit like a xmas tree   that defense couldnt stop a pop warner team, they had that division rapped up by default and still managed to somehow piss it away.. i think if the bad san diego team shows up they still cover

Thats what I'm thinking too...

PS- how does CBB look this year Badlands, I've been to busy with the NFL to get started...I hope you're doing well in both NFL and on the hardcourt

I wouldnt take Denver if they were getting 15.Their defense is horrible and this is a huge game which means Cutler will crumble under the pressure.I bet he throws atleast 3 picks in this game.

9 pts is too much. Denver has gone on the road and won some big games this year, and has also stunk it up at home losing to the Raiders and now the ailing Bills. I don't think the chargers will lose however it should be a competitive game. These two teams HATE each other and the winner gets into the playoffs. Denver is not going to just give it to SD. The obvious first reaction to the line is SD will kill them and cover. But the lines makers know they will get even action on this number. The chargers have had trouble covering at home as well. Anything over 7pts is too much. SD is capable of blowing them out but I don't see it happening with so much on the line and the bad blood between the two.

+9 is definitely begging for broncos money considering the magnitude of the game.  This is pretty much a playoffs game.  I'm just going to sit back and root for my chargers to win it.  Probably going to play the under 50.  Seems like a better bet.

there is no reason for denver to even make the trip,they can't make this line high enough..denver will get spanked in this game..they blew their season by losing to buffalo at home..i would be suprised if they stay within 3 tds of san diego

This is key.

The game against the Bills was much more important. I'm sure that the Broncos knew if they beat the Bills, they're in the playoffs and next week vs. SD is meaningless. If they can't show up against the Bills at home (with everything that was riding on that game) there is no way I put money on them beating a number in SD.

Broncos have no heart, and it shows.

Broncos SU here...all these talks about how SD is not a completely different team now than they were earlier.  They almost lost to KC, won at TB yesterday but TB could have put that game away but was unable to.  People are saying how SD wants to prove that the ref cost them the game in the 1st meeting, I say Denver will win and prove that the 1st game was not a fluke and the revenge angle for last year's ass whipping along with Rivers mouthing Cutler is still in their mind.

Broncos r  you all serious,they could have closed the book.now they have to go to Qualcomm...   the chargers now were given a lifeline.they will strangle the ponies with it....

good teams rise to the occasion. If you beat the Bills at home, you're in the playoffs/. This was the BILLS...a young team on the road, with nothing to play for.
 
yes, SD is the same team that almost lost to some horrible teams like the Raiders etc...but this is also the same Broncos team, that DID lose to BOTH the raiders and the Chiefs. How can you come in here and say don't bet SD cus they almost lost to the Chiefs...DEN did lose to the chiefs.
 
I expect both teams to play hard, and SD to cover when it's said and done.

Denver's ship is sinking...they had the division wrapped up and now just opened the front door for SD to walk right in.  SD has a chance to make the playoffs after being told they are done by just about everybody and I am pretty sure they remember what happened last time they played Denver in Denver...I think SD wins by 14-17 pts.

At first glance Denver +9 seems real juicy and then you  have to ask yourself why the number seems so high?Right now the public is betting SD and absolutly pounding the Over early
