"Good afternoon everybody and welcome to Week 10's edition of the SUCKER
BET brought to you by Tootsie Pop! For those of you who are unfamiliar
with the SUCKER BET, each week I identify the games where the public
seems to be
heavily favoring one side. Typically there are 3 or 4 choices each
week. From those games, I choose one unpopular pick as the SUCKER
BET. Last week was a another big winner for the SUCKER BET bringing the season
tally to 5-4 ATS. This week there is a handful of home dogs that are getting little respect. There are also a couple of Home favorites that cappers are reluctant to side with this week. Both Philadelphia and San Diego are favorites with lines that don't seem right to me. I'm tempted to side with San Diego because I'm thinking that line should be closer to 8 or 9. But this week, I'm doing something I rarely do, I'm taking my Eagles -3. Both the Giants and the Eagles are playing well right now. Both teams have Top 10 offenses and defenses. Typically the Giants are not great in the month of September. This is a great chance for the Eagles team to prove to themselves that they are as good as any team. This line hasn't moved, which tells me Vegas truely thinks the Eagles match-up better in this game. Not a lot of trends that support this picks. Conversly there are a few that don't, especially H2H. But, again, this lines smells fishy and I'll take the unpopular side. There you have it, Eagles -3. Good luck to everyone this week and see you next week for Week 11's edition of the SUCKER BET brought to you by Tootsie Pop!"

Thought for sure you would be on HOUSTON over BALTY...
This line is cooky and you have smellt out the fishy lines in the past. I am rolling with HOUSTON big time this week, but I also like the Philly pick for your Tootsie Pop Sucker Bet of the Week!
Thanks for your weekly insight!

Yes I think the last couple years the best time to take the Giants is when they are getting points on the road. For some reason this team plays with more intensity when they know they're the underdog.
