changing avatar problem

have been trying to change the picture in my avatar. went to my "space" page. hit the "edit" icon. selected the new avatar picture and it changed in the "space" page but NOT in the forum threads

WHAT am I doing WRONG? btw, sent two requests for information using the "contact us" and got NO response

LRR,

This has to do with the cache on your computer. Simply refresh the page by hitting F5 and you will eventually see your new image.

both your emails were replied to within 10 min of receiving them but they are bouncing back because it says:

The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found.

So the email issue has to be on your end.

Try pressing F5 while you hold down the ctrl key. I am seeing you holding up a fish?

having the problem again today. tried to change from the "skating penguin" Pittsburgh Penguins hockey logo back the the "Burgess Merideth as Penguin" picture. hit the F5 numerous times. still hasn't changed.

with your new "edit" policy do you guys have to "approve" a picture before it will appear?

Hello,

We only remove inappropriate avatars, we don't approve of the good ones. Yours came through earlier, it just needs a little time before it makes the switch. 

You can try logging out, deleting your cookies, cache and other website collected data. Then log back in and try again if you like, however it should switch over soon.
