Why is it there cant be a 1 day wait period to post or a simple email verification to get an account here (to avoid multiple spammers)?

I mean, you've taken steps to "better" the site (no links or cursing), yet day after day the same people make new accounts and pollute the forum.

You dont owe me anything, but I've been using this site for 10 years and you guys have done everything BUT fix that one simple problem. How hard can it be?

Just curious as to why?

Someting we are looking into and I wouldd say we have it in 2013.
