If a matchup you select is postponed or cancelled you will not be awarded an alternate pick.  I hate this rule.

Five cancelled baseball games and you can't get a replacement pick.

Thats part of the whole strategy..check the weather. The worst is preseason baseball games ending in a tie...might as well be a loss.

GIVE UP, I have been asking them to change that for years now, I said "How is it a level playing field, if one person gets 4 picks while someone else gets 3 picks"  I once had a cancellation on a Ultimate Race NCAA basketball game, when the roof caved in, because of a snowstorm, I guess I forgot to check the weather for an indoor event. They're not going to make it easier for you to win some . AND don't forget, we're dealing with canadians , who hate AMERICANS !

I love how PSU12 says to check the weather, how do you do that for an indoor basketball game, I also think it's a joke, that you can't change a pick before a game starts, I once took an UNDER by mistake and thought for sure I could change it to the OVER before it started........NOT !!                                                        AND I am so tired of hearing this is a free game, no shyt, that's why we're all here playing these contests.

So five minutes before the game mlb.com still doesn't say a game is postponed and I make a pick on the game because there is still a box score but it gets canceled and I lose a pick.  This is ridiculous.

classof78 there is no way this is a canadian site. if you read the rules and regulations, everythign but money does not get shipped to canada. the online sports betting prize and streak 7 only accepts americans. and all the payouts are in US dollars. I don't know about everyone else but definately does not sound like website run by canadians. But hey what do i know, i'm just a canadian. EH? haha

Its part of the game.  Everyone else plays by the same rules.  Just because the game someone picks gets rained out doesnt mean its unfair. Its just bad luck.  And if you dont think luck is a factor when contests are concerned...then you need to rethink everything.  But I do agree...it does suck when you game gets rained out...but thats part of it...just as a threepoint shot at the end of the game to cover by a halfpoint.  80% ability,20% luck...period!!!

i know its part of the game but if a game gets rained out thats much different than losing by a 3 pointer at the buzzer so that isn't a good argument.  I know it is the same for everyone but it also could be the same for everyone if you got your pick back.  Oh well its not gonna kill me, I just don't like it, but i'll deal with it.

STOP CRYING! We ALL have to pick a baseball game... no? So if we all have to pick a game, it's as fair as it gets... NOT THE RULES problem. Checking the weather forecast for any REAL gambler is automatic... pre season or not! You say your not going to check the weather in a "pre-season game"... but yet you will waste time posting how you feel about a FAIR rule... but won't check the weather forecast on the ONE game your going to pick... you seem like a bright one. Stop crying! Bottom line... STAY AWAY FROM GAMES THAT EVEN MIGHT GET CANCLED... it's easy...really...it's easy.

LMAO... I never said I was doing good... did I? lol I read your posts... all of them, and what stood out is how you will spend more time with your posts complaining.. instead of acting like a real man and just playing the game and making sure you stay away from games that have any chance of getting rained out... simple.
"I'm not checking the weather for a spring training game" I do belive you said. If you can't do this simple task you have no shot at making money.

As far as me telling it like it is... i'll do what I want, you have no say in it... got it?

Me doing well.. Last year I won more cash, free plays, hats, hoodies than 98 percent of people on this site... in all sports... $2500 in total, have a look at my avatar... yes that would be a $1000 check in the middle of the hat and hoodie... you wanna show me yours? lmao

Stop crying and just play the game.

I don't need a 46 year old man coming in here posting crying emoticons and telling me to stop crying when the issue was over with.  I am over it, it's not a big deal to me anymore.  I'm through with this thread.  BOL

LMAO... run forest run! My age has what to do with this thread? I'm 46 and could dunk over you, throw a 90mph right by you and run right by you in anything we tested our skills at.

Again... you make a post... be able to take the heat... i'll post as many crying emoticons as I like...got it... boy!

Stay out of the fire if you can't take the heat! Run forest run!

HAHAHA Keep being a child.  You couldn't throw a 90MPH fastball by me either.  I'm not running either just acting a bit more mature than you.

Doubt you could even throw a 90mph fastball or dunk.  Might be able to dunk but no 90mph fastball.

I actually have a harder time dunking now than I do throwing a 90mph fastball. I was doing both at the age of 16, I know hard to belive, but the truth. Being 6'4" 220 it was not that hard. I actually was doing both before you were born, or close... and picking winners too for that matter. My college education was paid for by my athletic talents, like many are. Pepperdine was my school of choice, always had/has a good baseball team.

I just thought it was a bit odd that you say you won't check the weather on pre season baseball games and it seemed like you were crying about games being called because of rain. I like the rule... because it gives me and others who go the extra mile to check the weather an advantage over people like you who don't/won't.

I wish you the best of luck with your future picks, but if you really want to be your best on this site, try and get every advantage you can over others... and that includes checking the weather in spring training games.

We are both in PA... maybe we can set up a friendly wager.. see if I can throw one by you? I'm in the Northeast part of PA.. you?

trotter64, Do you need a hoist to get your head out of your bunghole.  How about what, Class said, how do you check the weather for an indoor game. When a roof caves in because of a snowstorm, wouldn't you think and want them, to allow you to make another pick.  I agree with you, if you're picking a baseball game, yeah you better check the weather, all you have to do is click preview and then click 5 day forecast, but there is no 5 day forecast for basketball games. AND PLEASE do not brag about how tall you are and how much you weigh and what great things you can do with either a   or a  .  You sound like a little kid boasting about how great he is because he struck out another 10 year old in little league game, not a 46 year old man who is probably spewing bullcrap. Because if you were throwing 90 mile an hour pitches at age 16 like you say you were, why didn't you try out for the Phillies back then, they have open tryouts every year ???
