#1 Posted: 4/20/2007 8:01:56 AM You do realize that the first person to get to 100 wins will take home the top prize....So why the darn would you pick one of the latest MLB games on the board?
If the guys behind you win all their games, that will cost you 5k

#2 Posted: 4/20/2007 12:26:46 PM The leaders have been training very hard over the last couple of weeks and may have overlooked this minor(ok MAJOR) detail.
Good Luck to all.....as you cross the finish line, whoever it may be> |

#5 Posted: 4/20/2007 2:23:41 PM It's decided by the game that ends first. If they picked the same game, THEN it would be the time they submitted the picks.

Ok I will take care of my own garbage.
But what's wrong with my record? My record is one win shy of yours. What does that make you then?

#9 Posted: 4/20/2007 4:31:54 PM FoShizzle nailed it on the head - not to mention the fact that the Dodgers game is looking like a rainout at this point, might have helped to check the weather. Oh well it was only $5,000. Tough Break! |

#13 Posted: 4/20/2007 8:25:55 PM guys dont be so hard on him. its not easy to make it to the top and further more to stay there. He doesnt need that 5k, and he probably thought that i need it more than he does, which is so true. |

#14 Posted: 4/20/2007 9:13:09 PM that could be a tough break if he loses and wasn't aware of the rules about that...but i think with all the discussion everyone was having about the various rules...it would be important to check out every little detail if a person was leading or close to the lead...but hindsight is 20/20 i guess |

#16 Posted: 4/20/2007 10:27:26 PM Can you imagine the cluster there will be at the top if LA Dodgers and Utah both fail to cover. |

#17 Posted: 4/20/2007 11:49:35 PM If the Dodgers win, 20 players will have 96 plus wins for tomorrow. Oh, and Im not one of them. I will have only 95. |

#19 Posted: 4/21/2007 12:05:38 AM well done cheetah, I bet everyone that thought you were an idiot is feeling like a jackass right about now.
this week has been crazy, hadn't been able to enjoy much of anything. This was a great contest like i been saying all along, but i am looking forward to the break...and also to the start of the next one.
Guess im going to have to cancel on my A-list strippers, and just settle for toothless, wrinkle, and chuncky pool dancer. |

#22 Posted: 4/21/2007 6:01:58 PM Say what you will hindsight is always crystal clear. At 9:30 pm fri. after NJ was a winner and icy and cheeth were b0th at 99 icy was in position
to win it all even if cheeth came up a winner also
with LA.The first rule of a winning stratagy is to
win obviously but if you had conviction that your
pick was true, the shoes you would have wanted to be in were ICY's. |
