Anyone else own a small internet business?  Looking to swap advice on Search Engine Marketing, PPC, Search Engine Optimization, link building, SERPs, etc.

Lots and lots of money in this.  All about showing up on the first page of Google.

I started, run, and own Exceptionalsheets.com.  Currently we are carrying a array of Egyptian Cotton sheets and linens.

If there are any like minded entrepreneurs out there I would be glad to help...and would appreciate the opportunity to work together.

I have been interested for a long time now in starting a website.  I would appreciate any help with getting started.

Its tough to get on the first page of Google.  You have to pay big bucks for that.

I guess linking to my site got my thread moved.  I wonder if I can include it if I don't include my website.  I would really just like to get in touch with like-minded website owners.

gamble04, do you know what kind of site you want to start?  what do you want to sell?

2169, we just got indexed on page one of google for the keyword phrase "luxury sheets" and are ranked 10-12th for "Egyptian Cotton Sheets."

Oh I see it now under 'luxury sheets' I was entering 'Egyptian sheets'.  How are you doing with the traffic?  Adwords is really a bitch to get your ads approved.  You're doing PPC right? I like to play around with the Facebook Ads Manager.  Facebook is a really good tool for me.

2169, what is your website?

We ran adwords last holiday season and the ROI did not warrant further use.  We are thinking about trying again on keywords for which we rank well.

I run adult dating offers and freebies, I don't need a website for those.  Google was charging me up the ying for my keywords so I had to switch it up.  I only run my ads on Facebook.
