What's the best way to find a local bookie in your area? Kinda tired of the withdrawal fees online and would truly prefer the old school version, but don't really know of a good way to get it started.

you might have to become a regular at a bar so people aren't suspicious of you but a bar or sports bar would be the first place to look at ... maybe even a pool hall

A local bar might be your best bet. Make sure you're a regular there. Show up Tuesday, when the parlay cards come out. See if you can see anybody checking out a card.
When you've been there often enough, and people look at their cards right in front of you, ask where they got it. Most likely, they'll say the bartender.
A smart book will work through a "friendly" bartender. You'll probably never actually see the bookie, if he's smart. Ask the bartender for a card. Better yet, ask for two. Or three. The more you bet, the more they will want your business. Ask if there is a minimum/maximum size bet. Tip they guy $5, even if you only had one beer, and tell him thanks for the help. Most likely, you'll have to drop off the card by Friday at the latest.
Now, parlays are not the best bet in the World, but what you are doing is getting your foot in the door. After you've bet the cards for a while, the bartender may offer or you can ask if you can bet individual games. You're in!

Most agents in the USA and canada or in panama wont pay up if you win. If you lose they will call you 24 hours for your money thats the only set back when your dealing with crooked agents who likes to take advatage over your well being. GL
