I mean its a 100k and they send it via paypal?

You have to pay taxes yourself. Highly doubt they would give you a W-2G...

Ask the people who won 25k. Did they receive 25k or less? Ask Tuppy who won 100k. Did he receive 100k? I think you receive 100.000$, not less. After that if you are stupid, you pay taxes, if not you withdraw the money in 7-8 tranches on you bank account and that's all. Happy ending.

Tuppy...come in sir. If I recollect correctly, Tuppy was living in Canada and did not get less than $100,000, and soon after moved to Japan to marry his sweetheart. The move was planned before he won is how I remember the story.

I remember that also about Tuppy. Maybe that is why he moved to Japan, to get away from paying taxes?
