#1 Posted: 10/26/2012 1:10:44 AM In my league, we're down to 5.
I have already used: det, hou, chi, gb, nyg, atl, ne.
What are your thoughts on taking SF? What worries me is that it's a divisonal game on MNF on the road. Hate that.
Who would you guys take and why?

#2 Posted: 10/26/2012 1:17:29 AM I don't usually like taking road teams but the chargers coming off a bye and a bad loss look really good to me here. Teams coming off byes this year are 8-1-1 against the spread and the panthers probably should've covered last week. Rivers will find a way to grind this one out. |

#4 Posted: 10/26/2012 1:30:49 AM was thinking SD as Clev is a nice team to fade and TRich not being a 100%.
really appreciate the stats off the bye to back up your pick.

#7 Posted: 10/26/2012 12:15:50 PM I have a rule where I never take a road teams in a survivor but you may have no choice. Green Bay is really the only lock of week so SF would probably be the next safest bet out of the teams you haven't used.
Don't take the Chargers, especially this week against the Browns. As bad as Cleveland is they could still pull off a win. If anything take the Chargers next week vs the Chiefs at home.

#8 Posted: 10/26/2012 12:18:55 PM Thanks Big Joe. What scares me about the SF pick is that it's a MNF game on prime time vs a divisional opponent. Sounds stupid, but I think Zona could pull off the upset if they don't turn the ball over.
Tough tough decision.
Anyone else?
Have also seriously been considering Pitt at home vs. Wash off an emotional loss to NYG where they had the game with 1:45 left.

Yeah and tie that Arizona has lost 3 in a row also makes it that much tougher.
My opinion is the Titans and Steelers both win this week but again nothing is certain. The Titans D looked like garbage last week and even though Hasselbeck and Johnson put up 35 points it was against a Bills D that has given up 48, 52 and 45 points this season...
As for the Steelers, can the defense stop RG3 and limit him on the ground?
By the way, of the other 4 teams remaining do any of them have the Pats and Packers available to use?

#11 Posted: 10/26/2012 1:11:24 PM Denver is my number three option behind GB and Chi-town this week. Good luck. |

#14 Posted: 10/26/2012 2:37:28 PM That is a tough one, but I might consider Denver. Manning is getting more and more in sync over there and they are at home. I don't think the Broncos can stop Brees, but I do think they do enough with Miller and Co. to give him a little bit of a headache. |

#15 Posted: 10/26/2012 2:56:12 PM For the love of God, don't play the Chargers. Stick with your first instinct which was San Fran. Pittsburgh would be my only other pick. |

#17 Posted: 10/26/2012 2:58:20 PM You're in for a lot of bad spots. This is why you don't take the big boys early. I'm still alive and used:
DET, NYG, DAL, BAL, NO, ATL, OAK
Cool story huh? |

#18 Posted: 10/26/2012 3:24:16 PM don't think I can trust Brady Quinn. NO is still in a must win spot and think they beat Den. Couple pl have NE and GB. Indy is also getting healthy and Ten just scares me.
Still leaning SD or SF.
Good story Topher and good luck to you. |

#21 Posted: 10/26/2012 9:42:09 PM SF looks like a better choice. Going to sleep on it...either SD or SF and I agree, I didn't plan well for this.
